Jesus Himself taught that if we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness [dikiosini], all other things will be given to us as well. It has always been this way, and it will always be this way. God honors those who honor Him. And when we make obedience our priority, we discover that nothing is lacking—neither peace, nor provision, nor direction. The soul becomes stable, and life gains meaning. When we adopt this attitude, we are, in practice, denying the careful presence of a loving Father who directs each of our steps. It is as if we are saying that God has forgotten us—as if we know better than He does what the ideal kind of life for us would be.

This kind of thinking is born in a heart that has not yet fully surrendered to obedience to the Creator’s instructions. As long as a human being rejects the powerful Law of God, he remains distant from his source of light, which inevitably results in spiritual blindness. And within this inner darkness, no matter how much effort we make—we will never clearly know where we are going. Without the light of obedience, life seems confusing, frustrating, and directionless. But there is a way out, and it begins with a decision: to obey.

When we sincerely turn to the Lord’s commandments, something glorious happens. Darkness gives way to light, confusion gives way to clarity. We begin to see with the eyes of faith and understand that God has never abandoned us. He is guiding us with wisdom, even on the simple and hidden paths. In this new vision, we find peace, tranquility, and the certainty that the best is reserved for those who remain faithful.
