Daily Devotional: “From the place where you are, look to the north, to…

“From the place where you are, look to the north, to the south, to the east and to the west; for all the land that you see I will give to you” (Genesis 13:14-15).

Everything you can see with the eyes of faith and obedience belongs to you. God does not limit those who trust in Him and follow His ways. Look as far as you can, because everything that God has revealed as a promise to those who serve Him is yours by right. Everything you desire to be as a Christian and all that you long to do for God is within the possibilities of faith and obedience. There are no barriers for those who surrender completely to the Lord’s will, for He Himself opens the way and grants strength so that we may reach what has been prepared for us.

Draw closer to the Father and allow His presence to transform your whole being. Open your soul to the influence of the Holy Spirit and receive the baptism of His presence. The closer we come to God, the more He reveals to us the fullness of His will, showing us that there are immeasurable spiritual treasures available to those who fear and obey Him. Believe that God has everything you need and that, by walking according to His commandments, you will experience an abundant life, filled with divine power and favor.

Accept for yourself all the promises contained in the Word of God. Do not hesitate to take possession of the desires He has placed in your heart, for these longings are signs of what He wishes to accomplish in your life. Obedience to God’s commandments opens the doors to countless blessings in this life and, above all, guarantees the greatest reward of all: eternal life in Christ. Whoever believes and obeys the Lord will never be disappointed, for God honors those who surrender to Him with all their heart. -Adapted from Lettie B. Cowman. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that everything I can see with the eyes of faith and obedience belongs to me, for You do not set limits for those who trust in You and follow Your ways. I know that Your promises are real and that everything You have prepared for those who serve You is within reach of those who surrender completely to Your will.

My Father, today I ask You to draw me even closer to You, so that Your presence may transform my whole being. I want to open my soul to receive the fullness of Your Spirit and be molded according to Your will. Teach me to live in obedience to Your commandments, for I know that by walking in righteousness, I will experience the fulfillment of Your promises.

Oh, Most Holy God, I worship and praise You because Your promises are firm and true, and no one who trusts in You will be put to shame. Thank You for allowing me to take hold of Your Word and live according to Your principles, knowing that this opens the doors to countless blessings in this life and, above all, to eternal life in Christ. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law has a reserved place in my heart. Your commandments are like blooming gardens that perfume and beautify my existence. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Your name…

“Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Your name” (Psalm 142:7).

I too know the prisons of the soul, and only the Lord can set me free from them. There is the prison of sin, a dark and suffocating place where light does not enter and the morning air seems unreachable. It is a pit haunted by horrible forms, as if my own iniquities had come to life, taking on frightening and repulsive shapes that torment me. No one but the Lord can bring me out of this prison, for only He holds the key that breaks the chains of sin and brings true deliverance.

And there is also the prison of sorrow, where my sorrows surround me like cold and suffocating walls, with no windows to let the light in, nor doors to allow me to escape. Sorrow becomes a solitary cell, and each tear seems to be another brick reinforcing the walls around me. But God, in His mercy, does not leave us imprisoned forever. He is the deliverer of those who turn to Him with all their heart, who repent and seek to live in obedience to His holy and perfect Law.

The prisons we face in life, whether of sin, sorrow, or any other kind, have a common origin: the refusal to obey God. But the good news is that obedience is the key to freedom. When we sincerely decide to turn to God, repent, and obey His commandments, everything changes. God, in His great love, sends His angels to break the chains that bind us, opening the doors that lead us to true deliverance. He leads us to Jesus, who is the way to salvation, full deliverance, and eternal life. In obedience, we find not only freedom, but also the peace and restoring presence of God. -Adapted from J. Jowett. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that only You can set me free from the prisons of the soul that surround me. I recognize that the prison of sin is a dark and oppressive place, where my iniquities seem to come to life to torment me, and that only You, with Your mighty key, can break these chains and bring light into the darkness.

My Father, today I ask You to help me leave these prisons, giving me strength to repent and follow in obedience to Your holy Law. Teach me to trust in Your wisdom and to seek refuge in Your presence. May I have the courage to give You my pain, my mistakes, and all the burdens I carry, knowing that only You can break the chains and open the doors to freedom.

Oh, Most Holy God, I worship and praise You because, in Your great love, You do not leave me imprisoned forever. Thank You for being the deliverer of souls who repent and turn to You in obedience. I praise You because in Your presence I find peace, freedom, and restoration. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is the trustworthy bridge that helps me cross dangerous waters. Each one of Your commandments is more beautiful than the other. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: And Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, in the…

“And Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined; and there he was in the prison” (Genesis 39:20).

The most difficult aspect of suffering is often its duration. A brief and intense pain can be endured more easily, but when anguish persists for long periods, day after day, wearing down our strength and hope, the heart becomes vulnerable to despair. Without God’s help, it is easy to succumb. The story of Joseph in Egypt shows us that prolonged trials have a purpose. God, like a skilled refiner, allows us to go through the fire of suffering to shape our character and prepare us for something greater. As Malachi 3:3 says: “He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.” And, like a careful craftsman, God knows exactly when the work is finished and stops the fire at the right moment.

The key to facing and even reducing the time of suffering lies in surrendering ourselves completely to God’s will. When we choose to obey His commandments, we open our hearts to His purpose and allow Him to guide us in His wisdom. This surrender not only shapes our character, but also draws us closer to the Father, who embraces us as faithful children. He blesses us abundantly and leads us to Jesus, where we find comfort, strength, and direction for our lives.

When we reach this level of relationship with God and with Jesus, we can be sure that many sufferings we face today, because of our resistance or disobedience, will be avoided. The Father is a God of mercy, and He delights in sparing His children when He sees that their hearts are fully surrendered to Him. In obedience, we find not only relief for the pains of the soul, but also the joy of living at the center of God’s will, knowing that we are being refined for His glory and for our eternal good. -Adapted from Lettie B. Cowman. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that the most difficult aspect of suffering is often its duration. I recognize that, without Your help, it is easy to succumb to despair in the face of trials that seem endless. But I also know that You are the skilled refiner, shaping my character and allowing me to go through these difficulties for a greater purpose. Just like Joseph in Egypt, I want to learn to trust that You will stop the fire at the right moment, when Your work in me is complete.

My Father, today I ask You to help me surrender completely to Your will, even when circumstances are difficult. Teach me to obey Your commandments and to open my heart to Your purpose, allowing You to guide me with wisdom. Give me strength to endure whatever is necessary and shape my character so that I may live in harmony with You.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because in Your mercy and goodness suffering is not eternal, but a tool to transform me and draw me closer to You. Thank You because, in obedience, I find relief for the pains of the soul and the joy of being at the center of Your will. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law strengthens my soul in times of trial. My soul sings with joy because of Your commandments. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: “According to your faith, let it be done to you” (Matthew…

“According to your faith, let it be done to you” (Matthew 9:29).

“Praying until the end” means persevering in prayer until reaching full faith, advancing in trust while still praying, until the heart is completely assured that it has been heard by God. It is to pray with such intensity and certainty that, even before seeing the result, one becomes aware that what was asked for will be granted. This firm anticipation is not based on circumstances, which are unstable and uncertain, but on the unchanging Word of God, which remains faithful and true at all times.

The Word of God is filled with promises intended for obedient children, and it never fails to be fulfilled. When we align ourselves with His will and obey His commandments, our prayers gain a special dimension, for they are made with an upright and submissive heart to the Creator. John reminds us of this clearly by stating: “And whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him” (1 John 3:22). This promise is a powerful incentive for us to seek a life of obedience and fellowship with God.

The key to receiving answers to our prayers lies in obedience. Those who seek to please God with all their heart, keeping His commandments, experience the privilege of having their petitions granted. This certainty gives us strength to persevere in prayer, trusting that the Lord, in His faithfulness, will fulfill all that He has promised. As we pray with faith and obedience, we become participants in the blessings reserved for those who live to glorify God, assured that His promises are as firm as He Himself. -Adapted from Sir R. Anderson. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that persevering in prayer until reaching full faith is a journey of trust and surrender to You. I recognize that praying with intensity and certainty, until my heart is assured that I have been heard, is an act of faith founded on Your Word, which never fails. I do not trust in unstable circumstances, but in Your unchanging truth, which remains faithful at all times.

My Father, today I ask You to teach me to pray with an upright heart, submissive to Your will, aligning myself with Your commandments. Give me strength to live in obedience, knowing that it is on this path that my prayers gain power before You. May my life be a reflection of what John wrote: that those who keep Your commandments receive from You what they ask.

Daily Devotional: “Do not fear, for I am with you” (Isaiah 41:10).

“Do not fear, for I am with you” (Isaiah 41:10).

Satan constantly tries to weaken our faith by using fear as a weapon. He is a master at exploiting the paralyzing power of fear, which stands in direct opposition to faith. Faith is the bridge that connects us to the help of heaven, while fear acts as a barrier, distancing us from trust in God and, consequently, from the blessings He has for us. Job understood this danger and declared with sadness: “What I feared has come upon me” (Job 3:25). Fear is not just an emotion; it is a tool the enemy uses to sow doubt and lead us away from the path of obedience.

Fear originates from the devil, who is the father of lies, and everything he presents to us is based on deception. His threats and fears have no real foundation, for he has no power over those who live in faithfulness to God. His lies, although often frightening, should motivate us even more to stand firm in God’s truth. Since Eden, Satan’s ultimate goal has not only been to scare us, but to lead us into disobedience, drawing us away from God’s perfect plan. He knows that fear can be a doorway to doubt, and doubt leads us to ignore the Lord’s commandments.

Fear, however, is definitively defeated when we choose to obey God. In obedience, we find the constant presence of the Lord, and it is this presence that gives us courage and strength. When we walk in obedience, we are surrounded by divine protection, and where there is protection, fear loses its power. Obeying God’s commandments puts us in direct communion with Him, and this connection is the antidote to fear. In God’s presence, we find not only courage, but the confidence that He is with us in all circumstances, guaranteeing victory over any threat or deception of the enemy. -Adapted from A. B. Simpson. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that the enemy tries to weaken us by using fear as a weapon to draw us away from Your truth and Your presence. I recognize that fear, coming from the father of lies, is a strategy to lead us into doubt and, consequently, into disobedience.

My Father, today I ask You to strengthen me so that I never give in to the enemy’s lies, but stand firm in Your truth, which is eternal and unchanging. Give me courage to walk in obedience, even in the face of threats or uncertainties, knowing that in You is my protection and strength. Help me to discern the lies of fear and to reject them immediately, remaining faithful to Your perfect plan and trusting that You are always with me, leading me in victory.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because in Your presence there is no room for fear, only for trust and peace. Thank You for Your faithfulness, for Your constant protection, and for giving me the courage needed to face any situation. I know that in Your company I am safe and that obeying Your commandments is the path to a life of communion and strength. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law gives me constant security. Your commandments are like royal banquets for my soul. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: Because we do not pay attention to the things that are seen…

“Because we do not pay attention to the things that are seen, but to the things that are not seen” (2 Corinthians 4:18).

There are countless ways to look at the world, but only one is correct: the way God sees it. The man of pleasure, the man of money, and the man of intellect each have their own perspective, as do the rich, the poor, the rulers, and the governed. Each one interprets life according to their own experiences and desires, but all these views are imperfect and limited. The only true way to see the world is from God’s perspective, for only He knows reality in its perfection.

Seeking to see the world as God sees it may seem like a challenge, but He has not left us without guidance. God has given us His commandments so that we may know how to live fully and rightly. Obeying His Law is the most perfect way to live. When we align our thoughts and actions with God’s will, we experience life as it was designed to be—full of purpose, meaning, and peace. And on this journey, we receive God’s special care, who surrounds us with His blessings, protection, and the constant presence of Jesus in our lives.

Moreover, obedience to God’s Law not only transforms our present life, but also shapes our eternal destiny. Following the commandments prepares us for the ultimate reward: eternal life alongside the Creator. God, in His goodness, invites us to live His way. By looking at the world through God’s eyes, we find direction, peace, and the certainty that our future is secure in His hands. -Adapted from J. H. Newman. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, I recognize that my view of the world is limited and often influenced by my own desires and experiences. I ask You to help me see the world as You see it, with clarity, purpose, and truth. I know that only You know reality in its fullness, and I desire to align my mind and heart with Your divine perspective, trusting in Your perfect wisdom.

My Father, thank You for not leaving me without direction. You have given me Your commandments as a guide for a full and meaningful life. Help me to live in obedience to Your Law, understanding that this is the most perfect way to live. May my thoughts and actions reflect Your will, so that I may experience the peace, purpose, and blessings that come from walking with You.

Oh, Most Holy God, I praise You because Your goodness has no limits. Thank You for calling me to live Your way, shaping my present and my future according to Your will. May I, as I look at the world with Your eyes, find direction, peace, and the certainty that my destiny is secure in Your hands. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is my reliable compass toward eternal life. Your commandments are valuable treasures that I keep with zeal. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: See how great a forest a little fire kindles…

“See how great a forest a little fire kindles” (James 3:5).

When we throw a stone into a lake, it creates waves that expand in ever larger circles, one giving rise to another. So it is with sin in our lives. What seems small and harmless at first glance often becomes the starting point for something much greater and more destructive. A heart that surrenders to God, however, seeks to protect itself from both small and great sins, for it understands that the great ones usually have their origin in small slips.

Small sins, like grains of sand, may seem insignificant on their own, but when accumulated, they can lead us to ruin. In the same way, raindrops seem fragile, but together, they can cause rivers to overflow and bring destruction. Sin, whether great or small, is always a violation of God’s Law, and the only way to free ourselves from it is through a firm and determined decision to obey God’s Law with all our strength.

The good news is that when God sees in our soul a sincere and true desire to live in obedience, He strengthens us. With the strength that comes from God, we can finally break free from the slavery of sin. No matter how difficult it may seem, with God by our side, we are assured that it is possible to overcome sin and walk in righteousness. Obedience to God’s Law is the key to this victory, and with divine help, we can remain steadfast, free, and at peace with God the Father and with Jesus. -Adapted from Henry Müller. Until tomorrow, if the Lord permits us.

Pray with me: Dear God, I recognize that sin, even in its most subtle form, can grow and cause destruction in my life, just as a small stone can create waves in a lake. I ask You to help me watch over my heart and take even the smallest slips seriously, understanding that every sin is a violation of Your holy Law and separates me from You.

My Father, give me strength and determination to obey Your Law with all my being. I do not want to underestimate the impact of sin in my life, but I desire to live in righteousness, knowing that only in Your presence do I find true peace and freedom. Help me to treat sin with the seriousness it requires and to walk in faithful obedience, trusting that You sustain me in all my spiritual battles.

Oh, Most Holy God, I praise You because You do not let us fight alone against sin. Thank You for strengthening us when we show a sincere desire to obey You. I trust that, with Your help, I can overcome any temptation and live in a way that pleases You. May my life be a testimony to the transforming power of Your goodness and the joy of living in obedience to You. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is my sun and full moon, which never lets me walk in darkness. Your commandments are the compass that guides my life, always leading me on the path of righteousness. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate…

“Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it” (Matthew 7:13).

Human life is marked by its mobility and constant change. We are not permanent inhabitants of this world; we are travelers, always on the move, with staff in hand and dust gathering on our sandals. We are all on a journey, moving forward, accompanied by a great multitude traveling the same path, while others follow us from afar, watching our steps. On this journey, there is no permanent rest, neither by day nor by night.

This journey is serious and demands reflection, for each of us is moving toward one of two destinations: salvation or destruction. This process takes place in our soul, continuously, as we live and choose whom to serve. God, in His goodness, has not hidden from us the way to eternal life. He made it clear that only two things are necessary: to believe that Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, and to faithfully obey His Law. These two simple and direct conditions are what set us on the right path and lead us to the final destination God has prepared.

However, millions choose to ignore these clear requirements. Many decide to reject God’s commandments, living in disobedience, while others deny that Jesus is the one sent by God, the only one capable of reconciling humanity with the Creator. This choice, whether deliberate or unconscious, distances them from eternal life and leads them down a path of destruction. Yet to all, God offers the chance to change direction, to believe and obey, so that they may find true life and the eternal purpose He has reserved for those who follow Him. -Adapted from James Hastings. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, I recognize that I am a traveler in this world, always on the move, with each step shaping my eternal destiny. I ask You to guide my steps on the right path, so that my journey may bring me closer to You, clothing me in Your image and keeping me away from the snares of corruption and weakness.

My Father, help me to remember the two conditions You have set before us: to believe that Jesus is the Lamb of God and to faithfully obey Your Law. May my faith in Jesus be firm and my obedience to Your commandments constant, so that I may walk safely toward the destination You have prepared for Your children.

Oh, Most Holy God, I praise You for offering everyone the opportunity to change direction, to abandon the path of destruction and to follow the way of eternal life. Thank You for revealing Your will so clearly and for calling us, in Your mercy, to believe and obey. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is permanently written on my heart. Your commandments are like stars that light up the dark nights of my life, bringing hope and direction. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: “The righteous will live by faith” (Hebrews 10:38).

“The righteous will live by faith” (Hebrews 10:38).

Appearance and feelings, although part of the Christian experience, cannot replace faith and obedience. Pleasant emotions and moments of deep spiritual satisfaction are gifts that enrich our walk with God, but they should not be the foundation of our relationship with Him. When we live in obedience to His commandments, we can trust that He is with us, even in times when our emotions do not reflect this reality.

Many face difficulties because they try to base their Christian walk on emotions instead of faith and obedience. This approach is dangerous, as emotions are volatile and can deceive us. God’s presence in our lives does not depend on what we feel, but on His faithfulness and our response in obeying Him. We must understand that the reality of God’s presence is constant, even when we do not experience the emotion of that reality.

Without obedience, faith does not bear fruit nor attract divine blessings and protection. A person may be moved by a sermon or touched by a song, but if they are not willing to obey God’s commandments, that emotion will be superficial and fleeting. True connection with God comes from a life surrendered to His will, grounded in genuine faith and obedience to His words revealed by Jesus and the prophets. It is in this surrender that we find the peace, protection, and blessings that only He can give. -Adapted from Lettie B. Cowman. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, I thank You for teaching me that my relationship with You should not be based on emotions, but on faith and obedience to Your Word. Although moments of joy and spiritual satisfaction are gifts that enrich my walk, help me to remember that true security lies in knowing that You are with me, even when my feelings do not reflect this reality.

My Father, I ask You for wisdom not to base my Christian life on fleeting experiences, but on the certainty of Your promises and obedience to Your commandments. Teach me to live in accordance with Your will, even in times of difficulty or uncertainty.

Oh, Most Holy God, I praise You because You are faithful and constant, regardless of the fluctuations of my emotions. Thank You for calling me to a life of total surrender, where faith and obedience produce lasting fruit. May my connection with You be grounded in Your will and in the certainty that, by obeying You, I find the peace, protection, and blessings that only You can give. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law never allows me to be confused. Each one of Your commandments is more beautiful than the other. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs…

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3).

Jesus taught us, through His example, to abandon the pursuit of human ambition and to surrender completely to the will of the Father. His words, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve,” are a powerful reminder that the true purpose of life is to serve and honor God above all else. Through the prophets, He announced that He would choose a humble people, who would tremble at His words and find joy in obeying His perfect commandments. In this call to humility and obedience, Jesus established the foundations for a blessedness that transcends earthly circumstances.

Those who possess the character of humility and submission are the ones Jesus has placed in possession of His heavenly Kingdom. They recognize their condition as mere creatures, shaped from the simplest elements of creation, yet endowed with a perfect body and mind by the Creator. This awareness does not lead them to pride, but to the recognition of their total dependence on God. They remember that everything they have—from the ability to feel, think, and act—is a divine gift, and this drives them to live in submission to God’s will.

True happiness is not found in seeking greatness or human power, but in obeying the Creator with a humble heart. Those who understand that they were formed to live in harmony with divine purposes discover the deep joy that comes from obedience. By recognizing their position as servants of God, they experience the blessedness promised by Jesus: a place in the heavenly Kingdom and a peace that can only be found in total submission to the Lord. -Adapted from Hilary of Poitiers. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, I thank You for the example of Jesus, who showed us how to abandon the pursuit of human glory and surrender completely to Your will. His words remind us that the true purpose of life is to serve and honor You above all things. Help me to live with humility, trembling before Your Word and finding joy in obeying Your commandments.

My Father, I acknowledge that all I am and possess comes from You, the Creator who shaped my life with perfection and love. Give me a submissive heart, aware of my total dependence on You. May my life reflect gratitude and obedience, reminding me that every ability to feel, think, and act is a gift from You, meant to be used for Your glory.

Oh, Most Holy God, I praise You because true happiness is not in greatness or human power, but in submission to Your purpose. Thank You for calling me to live in harmony with You, experiencing the joy and peace that come from obedience. May I be counted among the humble and submissive who possess Your heavenly Kingdom, living forever in Your glorious presence. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law walks beside me. Your commandments are treasures of great value that I keep with zeal, for in them I find true happiness. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
