“Because we do not pay attention to the things that are seen, but to the things that are not seen” (2 Corinthians 4:18).
There are countless ways to look at the world, but only one is correct: the way God sees it. The man of pleasure, the man of money, and the man of intellect each have their own perspective, as do the rich, the poor, the rulers, and the governed. Each one interprets life according to their own experiences and desires, but all these views are imperfect and limited. The only true way to see the world is from God’s perspective, for only He knows reality in its perfection.
Seeking to see the world as God sees it may seem like a challenge, but He has not left us without guidance. God has given us His commandments so that we may know how to live fully and rightly. Obeying His Law is the most perfect way to live. When we align our thoughts and actions with God’s will, we experience life as it was designed to be—full of purpose, meaning, and peace. And on this journey, we receive God’s special care, who surrounds us with His blessings, protection, and the constant presence of Jesus in our lives.
Moreover, obedience to God’s Law not only transforms our present life, but also shapes our eternal destiny. Following the commandments prepares us for the ultimate reward: eternal life alongside the Creator. God, in His goodness, invites us to live His way. Pray with me: Dear God, I recognize that my view of the world is limited and often influenced by my own desires and experiences. I ask You to help me see the world as You see it, with clarity, purpose, and truth. I know that only You know reality in its fullness, and I desire to align my mind and heart with Your divine perspective, trusting in Your perfect wisdom.
My Father, thank You for not leaving me without direction. You have given me Your commandments as a guide for a full and meaningful life. Help me to live in obedience to Your Law, understanding that this is the most perfect way to live. May my thoughts and actions reflect Your will, so that I may experience the peace, purpose, and blessings that come from walking with You.
Oh, Most Holy God, I praise You because Your goodness has no limits. Thank You for calling me to live Your way, shaping my present and my future according to Your will. May I, as I look at the world with Your eyes, find direction, peace, and the certainty that my destiny is secure in Your hands. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior.
