When God made the eternal covenant with Abraham and sealed this covenant with the sign of circumcision, He stated that all the nations of the earth, not just the Jews, would be blessed through this covenant. It is a mistake to think that Jesus came to found a new religion for the gentiles. From His birth to His death on the cross, Jesus remained faithful to Israel and never suggested that gentiles would be saved apart from Israel. The gentile who wishes to be saved by Christ must follow the same laws that the Father gave to the chosen nation for His honor and glory. The Father sees the faith and courage of this gentile, despite the difficulties. He pours out His love on him, unites him with Israel, and leads him to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. This is the plan of salvation that makes sense because it is true. | The gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, and thus becomes His servant… and who keeps My covenant, I will also bring them to My holy mountain. The devil may be cunning to us, human beings, but not to God. For centuries, the serpent has been brainwashing churches, diverting the attention of gentiles from the truths that the Lord has given us through His prophets in the Old Testament. The reason is simple: it was through these prophets that God delivered His laws to the human race, so that by obeying them, we may be blessed and sent to the Lamb for forgiveness and salvation. By downgrading the prophets, the serpent also downgrades the Law given to the prophets, thus achieving his eternal goal: that men do not obey God. No gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel. Laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | “Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!” Deuteronomy 5:29
Millions of gentiles in churches imagine it to be a small and inconsequential thing to live in open disobedience to the holy laws that God gave to the prophets of the Old Testament and to Jesus in the Gospels. They have been swayed by the inclinations of the flesh and have gladly accepted the false doctrine of “unmerited favor,” because it is through this teaching that they deceive themselves, thinking they will be welcomed with open arms into heaven, even though they blatantly ignore God’s Law. Jesus never taught such a doctrine, nor did He entrust any man, within or outside the Bible, with this task. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The Scriptures recount several cases of people who were especially blessed by God. Human beings like us, who were healed from serious illnesses, delivered from powerful enemies, and greatly prospered. They all had something in common: they were faithful to God’s laws and pleased the Lord with their lives. Many in the churches also seek God’s blessings but do not receive them because they have listened to false teachings. They learned that God blesses those who do not obey His laws revealed to the prophets of the Old Testament and to Jesus. Do not accept this lie just because the majority has accepted it. Seek to be faithful to God’s laws, and He will change your life and send you to the Son. | “We receive from Him whatever we ask because we obey His commandments and do what pleases Him.” 1 John 3:22
Nothing in the Scriptures is clearer than the laws of God. Everyone understands what it means not to steal, not to kill, not to commit adultery, to keep the Sabbath, to wear the tzitzit, to maintain a beard, and to follow the other laws. The gentile who knows these laws but chooses not to obey them has already lost any basis for defense in the final judgment due to their conscious disobedience. Claiming that they disobeyed because Jesus died on the cross will not be accepted, since Jesus never taught this. And saying that they learned it from someone else will not be accepted either, as there are no prophecies about someone coming after Jesus with the mission to change God’s laws for the gentiles. One of the most offensive phrases that defenders of the false doctrine of “unmerited favor” like to use is that a person can obey God’s commandments, as long as it is not for salvation. As if obeying His Law were a little gift they are offering to God. Something extra, a bonus. They do not realize that God is a consuming fire and that His wrath will fall on all those who make light of His Law. Jesus never taught this blasphemy nor authorized anyone, inside or outside the Bible, to teach it. Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus and His apostles themselves followed. Do not follow the majority because they are many. | “Ah, My people! Your guides lead you astray and destroy the paths you walk.” Isaiah 3:12
There has never been a time in human history when God did not allow Gentiles to have their sins forgiven and be saved when they died. Nor has there been a change in the process God established to save Gentiles. The point is: God did not authorize the creation of a plan of salvation for Gentiles apart from Israel. We, Gentiles, are saved by joining Israel, the nation God set apart for Himself. By following the same laws given to His people, the Father sees our seriousness and leads us to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. This was true in the Old Testament, in the days of Jesus, and remains true today. This plan of salvation makes sense because it is the true one. | The Gentile who joins the Lord to serve Him, thus being His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring them to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
Whoever knows God’s laws but refuses to obey them should not even mention the word “sanctification”. The true foundation for those who want to be sanctified is obedience to the holy and eternal laws of God. Only when this foundation is present can the individual seek intimacy with God through sanctification. Unfortunately, the church has ignored the laws that God gave through the prophets and by Jesus for so long that spiritual blindness has dominated leaders and followers. Do you want to be sanctified? Do you want to be intimate with God? Receive His blessings and be led to Jesus for salvation? Start with the basics: obey God’s laws! | Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked… But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. Psalms 1:1-2
