There are no words to describe the absurdity of a person expecting God to meet their needs and bless them while showing God that they have no interest in obeying His holy laws. This sad reality is one of the inevitable fruits of the false doctrine of “unmerited favor,” taught in many churches for centuries. People suffer needlessly because they do not seek to obey God. Do not follow this lie just because the majority has accepted it.
