Daily Devotional: Show the wonder of your love, you who by your right hand save those…

“Show the wonder of your love, you who by your right hand save those who seek refuge in you from their foes” (Psalm 17:7).

Gratitude is born from the ability to notice, with careful attention, every detail of God’s gifts in our lives. When we learn to recognize His blessings, even in the small things, we become aware of His constant love and care. God is not only concerned with the great moments of our existence, but also with the simplest events and every need of our daily lives.

The great blessings of God belong to those who walk with Him in obedience. The most blessed men in the Bible, such as Abraham and David, loved the Law of the Lord. They were not superhuman, nor did they possess anything that we do not have. The difference was in their hearts, willing to faithfully follow God’s commandments. They understood that obedience to the Creator is the only path to a happy life, full of the presence and favor of the Father.

This same blessed life is accessible to anyone who decides to live according to God’s will. There is no distinction between those who were called in the past and those who are called today: the promises are for all who obey. Just as Abraham and David were honored for their faithfulness, anyone can experience the abundance of God’s blessings and, in the end, inherit eternal life in Christ. -Adapted from H. E. Manning. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that gratitude is born from the ability to recognize Your blessings in every detail of life. Many times, we wait for great miracles and fail to notice Your daily care, from the small provisions to the corrections that shape us for something greater. I want to have an attentive and grateful heart, that sees Your hand in everything, understanding that even challenges are opportunities to grow in faith and obedience.

My Father, today I ask You to teach me to follow Your ways as Abraham and David did, who found in Your Law the secret to a happy life. I know that obedience is the key to experiencing Your presence and protection. Give me a heart willing to honor You in all things, trusting that You always lead those who follow You faithfully.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You are faithful and never fail to honor those who walk in Your ways. Thank You because Your promises are for all who choose to obey You, regardless of time or circumstance. May my faith and gratitude be constant, and may my obedience lead me to the fullness of Your presence. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is the sword that defends me in battle. My heart delights in Your commandments. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
