Daily Devotional: You intended to harm me; but…

“You intended to harm me; but God turned it into good” (Genesis 50:20).

These words of Joseph of Egypt reflect a profound truth about the way God works in the world. Divine providence often takes unexpected forms, and faith sometimes seems to be in crisis when, in reality, it is only being transformed. God may, for a moment, appear to favor those who openly disobey His will, allowing them to advance and prosper while the righteous face difficulties. But this is the test of faith: to continue trusting even when the situation makes no sense.

The faithful servant must understand that God can bring about good even through the wicked and that, many times, the efforts of those who do not follow God’s Law seem to be more successful. However, the faithful should not resist what God allows, lest they find themselves fighting against the very will of the Lord. Just as the older brother in the parable of the Prodigal Son erred by resenting the Father’s mercy, the obedient should not give in to bitterness or doubt when they see the disobedient prospering for a time. The correct response is to remain steadfast, clinging to the holy Law of God without hesitation.

Faithfulness to God does not depend on external circumstances. Whoever loves the Lord enough to obey His commandments, even when it seems they are the only one doing so, can be sure they are secure. No enemy, whether human or spiritual, can touch those whom God keeps in His heart. The obedient occupy a special place before God, for their faithfulness proves they trust more in the Word of the Lord than in what they see around them. In due time, God will reverse all apparent injustices, and faithfulness will be rewarded with eternal blessings. -Adapted from H. Newman. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that many times Your providence takes unexpected forms, and I do not always understand Your ways. But I want to trust fully in You, knowing that You turn all evil into good for those who obey You. Teach me to keep my faith firm, even when circumstances seem unfavorable, for I know that You are sovereign over all things.

My Father, today I ask You to guard my heart against doubt and bitterness. I know that, many times, those who do not follow Your commandments seem to prosper, while the faithful face difficulties. But I do not want to measure life by human standards; I want to see with the eyes of faith. Give me patience and perseverance to continue clinging to Your holy Law without hesitation, for I know that in Your time all injustice will be reversed. Strengthen me so that I may never resist what You allow, but trust that Your will is perfect and that everything is under Your control.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You are just and faithful to those who love and obey You. Thank You because no enemy can touch those who are kept in Your heart. I know that faithfulness to You is never in vain and that, in due time, You will reward those who have remained steadfast. May my life be a testimony of trust and obedience, so that I may one day enjoy the eternal blessings You have reserved for Your faithful in Christ Jesus. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is my wall against the hosts of evil. I love Your commandments, for they are like the sun that warms and illuminates the corners of my soul. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: Now the Lord said to Abram: Leave your country, your relatives, and…

“Now the Lord said to Abram: Leave your country, your relatives, and your father’s house and go to the land that I will show you” (Genesis 12:1).

The commandments of God do not always come with explanations, but they always carry promises, whether explicit or implicit. If God gave us detailed reasons for every command, human nature would tend to question, analyze, and doubt. Instead, He gives us promises, which are far more powerful. Reason may be abstract and difficult to understand, but a promise is clear, practical, and concrete.

Abraham did not receive an explanation as to why he should leave his country and his relatives; he received only a promise. But that promise was enough, for it came from the faithful God. And God has never failed to fulfill His promises to those who, like Abraham, listened and obeyed. The principle remains the same: whoever obeys sees the faithfulness of God manifest in extraordinary ways.

Nothing has changed today. Anyone who decides, firmly and unwaveringly, to obey the powerful Law of God can be certain that all good things will happen. God is not like man, who promises and does not fulfill. His words are eternal and unchanging. The key to experiencing divine blessings is unconditional obedience. When we trust and follow His Law without hesitation, we discover that His promises are more than words—they are realities that transform our lives. -Adapted from J. Hastings. See you tomorrow, if the Lord permits.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that Your commands do not always come with explanations, but they always bring promises. I know that my human nature often wants to understand before obeying, but I want to learn to trust as Abraham trusted. He did not receive details, only a promise, and that was enough for him to move forward.

My Father, today I ask You to strengthen my faith so that my obedience may be unconditional. I do not want to hesitate before Your Word, nor question Your ways, but to follow with the certainty that You are faithful and a fulfiller of Your promises. I know that those who obey Your Law experience the fullness of Your care and Your blessings.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You are unchanging and faithful in all that You say. Thank You because Your promises are not mere words, but realities that transform those who choose to follow You without reservation. May my walk with You be marked by obedience and trust, so that I may see, day after day, the manifestation of Your faithfulness in my life. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is the fountain that refreshes my spirit. My life finds meaning in Your commandments. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: When they were alone, He explained everything…

“When they were alone, He explained everything to His disciples” (Mark 4:34).

Jesus does not explain everything to us all at once, but reveals truths to us as we are ready to understand them. God is constantly teaching us about ourselves. He leads us through the most hidden corners of our character, revealing aspects we often ignore. We are surprisingly unknown to ourselves! We do not easily recognize envy when it arises, nor laziness, nor pride disguised in justifications. Believing that we fully understand ourselves is one of the last remnants of human presumption to be destroyed.

The only way to gain a true understanding of who we are and where we are going is through obedience to God’s commandments. God truly draws near only to those who love Him enough to obey Him. He does not waste revelation on rebellious hearts, but leads to true understanding those who are willing to faithfully follow His will.

The light of God shines only on those who sincerely say: “Here I am. I will obey everything You have instructed me in the Word.” Obedience not only leads us to the knowledge of God, but opens our eyes to who we really are, preparing us for a life of fellowship with the Father and His Son, Jesus. The more we obey, the more we see. The more we see, the more we are transformed. And it is on this journey of obedience and enlightenment that we find the path to eternal life. -Adapted from O. Chambers. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that You reveal truth to us as we are ready to understand it. I know there is still much in me that I do not see clearly, and that my heart can hide flaws under deceptive justifications. But I do not want to live under the illusion that I already know myself completely. I want Your light to shine within me, exposing everything that needs to be transformed. Teach me to accept this process with humility, knowing that it is You who guide me on the path of truth.

My Father, today I ask You to give me an obedient heart, for I know that true understanding comes only to those who choose to follow You faithfully. I do not want to be just a hearer of Your Word, but someone who puts it into practice without hesitation. Shape my character, reveal to me who I truly am, and strengthen me to follow in obedience, for I know that only then can I walk in deeper fellowship with You. Open my eyes so that I may clearly see what I need to change and give me strength to transform myself according to Your will.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because Your light not only reveals who You are, but also illuminates who we really are. Thank You because You do not leave us trapped in the darkness of ignorance, but patiently lead us to the truth. May my life be a continuous journey of obedience and transformation, so that I may see more and more and be prepared to live eternally in Your presence. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law lifts me above the storms of life. My gratitude overflows for Your commandments. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: The One who sent me is with me; He has not left me alone…

“The One who sent me is with me; He has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases Him” (John 8:29).

What a relief it would be for many of us if we learned to truly rest in God, surrendering to Him completely our burdens, worries, and needs! If we had such absolute faith, we would no longer feel overwhelmed, for we would know that He fulfills His promises and cares for those who love Him and keep His holy and eternal commandments. Anxiety and fear would dissipate, for we would understand that we are not responsible for carrying the weight of life alone, but that God, in His faithfulness, sustains those who surrender fully to His will.

Jesus gave us the greatest example of this rest in God. He did not worry about tomorrow, because He knew the Father cared for Him. His own words confirm this truth: “He has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases Him” (John 8:29). This is the key to living under God’s constant care: doing everything that pleases Him. Jesus taught us that pleasing the Father means walking in full obedience, living according to the powerful Law of God, without deviation or compromise.

It is in obedience to the Father that we find peace, provision, protection, and, in the end, salvation in Christ. Those who choose to follow the Lord’s ways need not fear the future, for their lives are in the hands of the One who governs all things. If we want to rest in the certainty of divine care, we must follow Jesus’ example, obeying the Father with all our hearts. Then, and only then, will we experience the fullness of the blessings reserved for the faithful. -Adapted from A. B. Simpson. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that many of us carry unnecessary burdens because we have not learned to truly rest in You. I know that if I had absolute faith in Your faithfulness, I would not feel overwhelmed, for I would understand that You care for those who love You and keep Your holy commandments. Help me to trust You more, to place every worry and need in Your hands.

My Father, today I ask You to teach me to follow the example of Jesus, who did not worry about tomorrow because He always did what pleased You. I know that the secret to living under Your care is total obedience to Your will. I want to walk in Your ways without deviation, without compromise, without hesitation, for it is in obedience that I find peace, provision, and security. Shape my heart so that my life may be fully surrendered to You, for I know that only then will I experience the fullness of Your presence.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You are faithful in all things and never forsake those who obey You with all their hearts. Thank You that I can trust my life is safe in Your hands and that, by following Your commandments, I will find rest and eternal blessings. May my faith be firm and my obedience unshakable, so that I may live without fear, knowing that You govern all things and care for those who choose to walk in Your ways. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law and I walk hand in hand, for it is what keeps me on the right path. I love Your commandments, for they are like the dawn that renews hope in my heart. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for…

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34).

These words of Jesus teach us to let go of anxiety and trust in God’s faithfulness. Life is full of changes, challenges, and unexpected opportunities, but we should not face them with fear. On the contrary, we should face them with hope and confidence, knowing that the God to whom we belong and whom we faithfully obey will sustain us. He has protected us thus far and will continue to guide us. If we remain firm in His mighty hand, nothing can shake us, and in moments when we cannot walk on our own, He Himself will carry us.

Do not allow worry about the future to steal the peace that God wants to give you today. The same eternal Father who cares for you now will care for you tomorrow and on all the days to come. The world teaches us to fear the unknown, but those who live in obedience to the Lord know there is nothing to fear when you are in God’s arms. He sees what we cannot see, and for this reason, we can rest assured that every need is already provided for before it even arises.

The obedient child holds a special place in God’s heart, for few choose to follow His commandments faithfully. But those who choose this path enjoy special care from the Father. They do not need to worry about tomorrow, for the Lord takes care of everything for them. True security does not come from the absence of difficulties, but from the constant presence of God in the lives of those who obey Him. Whoever walks in obedience walks in peace, for they know they are in the hands of the Almighty. -Adapted from F. de Sales. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that I do not need to worry about tomorrow, for You are faithful and always care for those who obey You. I know that life brings unexpected challenges, but I want to face them with confidence, remembering that You have sustained me thus far and will continue to guide my steps. Teach me to rest in Your providence, without letting worry about the future steal the peace You wish to give me today.

My Father, today I ask You to strengthen my faith so that I am not led by fear or uncertainty. The world teaches us to fear the unknown, but I want to live according to Your will, knowing that You have already prepared everything I need. Give me an obedient heart, for I know that those who follow Your commandments faithfully enjoy special care. May I trust fully in You, without hesitation, knowing that every need is already provided for before it even arises.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You are the God who sustains, protects, and guides those who love You. Thank You because true security does not come from the absence of difficulties, but from Your constant presence in the lives of Your faithful children. May my trust always be in You, for whoever walks in obedience walks in peace, knowing they are in the hands of the Almighty. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law walks beside me in this dark world. Your commandments are like pillars that uphold the temple of my faith. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: And they seized a certain Simon… and laid the cross on him…

“And they seized a certain Simon… and laid the cross on him” (Luke 23:26).

Obeying God often costs more to other people than to ourselves, and it is precisely there that suffering arises. If we are truly passionate about the Lord, obedience will not be a burden, but rather a pleasure. The true cost is not upon us, but upon those who do not love God, because our faithfulness inevitably disrupts the plans of those who live without considering the divine will. And when this happens, criticism arises: “You call this Christianity?” The world does not understand obedience to God, because it is accustomed to a superficial faith, without renunciation and without real commitment to the truth.

Paralysis in spiritual life occurs when we begin to fear the discomfort our obedience may cause others. But there is no way to obey God without causing an impact around us. Obedience activates divine purposes in the world, and this inevitably shakes human structures. If we say, “I don’t want to make anyone suffer,” we are, in fact, placing an unacceptable limit on God, for we are prioritizing the will of people over the will of the Lord. And the result of this will always be disobedience.

Our role is not to calculate the consequences of our obedience, but to trust that God will take care of those affected by it. He knows how to act in every situation. We must simply obey and leave all the consequences in His hands. Beware of the temptation to try to dictate to God how far you are willing to go. The faithful servant does not impose conditions on the Lord, but simply follows, knowing that obedience always results in blessing, whether now or in eternity. -Adapted from O. Chambers. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that obedience to You is not always understood by those around us, and often suffering comes not from personal cost, but from the reaction of those who do not understand Your ways. I know that following You with all my heart can generate criticism and opposition, but I do not want to allow the fear of rejection to paralyze me. Teach me to love You above all, so that my faithfulness is never compromised by the desire to please men.

My Father, today I ask You for courage to obey Your mighty commandments without reservation, without calculating the consequences or fearing the impacts my faithfulness may cause. I know that it is You who sustains all things and that I do not need to try to control what will happen around me. I want to trust that, if my obedience generates resistance, You will be with me, strengthening me and leading every situation according to Your will. May I never place limits on what I am willing to give You, but may I follow with determination, knowing that obeying You will always bring eternal fruit.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You are faithful to take care of everything when we choose to follow Your will. Thank You because You do not leave us alone when we face opposition, but sustain us with Your strength. May my life be a testimony of unconditional faithfulness, so that I never hesitate to obey You, regardless of the cost. I know that all obedience results in blessing and that being in Your presence is worth more than any human approval. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is my constant friend. I find in Your commandments the strength and courage to face daily challenges. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: Didn’t I command you? Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, nor…

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

Nothing is small or great in the eyes of God. What matters is not our perception of importance, but what God desires. If He asks us for something, no matter how insignificant it may seem, it should become grand to us, for it is the will of the Creator. Likewise, everything He does not want us to do, no matter how valuable it may appear in our eyes, should become worthless to us. Obedience to the Law of God must be above anything else in our lives. It is not for us to judge or measure the importance of a commandment, but simply to obey, trusting that God knows better than we do.

Now, have you ever stopped to reflect on what you might lose by neglecting this duty? Do you understand the blessings reserved for those who faithfully fulfill the will of God? Many live without realizing that the lack of obedience deprives them of the life God wishes to grant. But there is one certainty: if you give your best in what God requires of you daily, He will provide everything necessary when greater challenges arise. Faithfulness in small things prepares us for the great ones, and daily obedience strengthens our soul for any trial we may face in the future.

Therefore, surrender yourself to Him without reservation, trust in His care, fix your eyes on Him, and listen to His voice. When we follow God with a sincere heart, He guides us safely and strengthens us along the way. Do not hesitate, do not fear. Move forward with courage and joy, for the one who obeys the Lord will never be left without direction, without strength, or without reward. -Adapted from Jean Nicolas Grou. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that nothing is small or great in Your eyes, for what truly matters is Your will. I know that my perception cannot define the value of a commandment, and that it is up to me to obey without questioning, trusting that You know better than I do. Teach me to treat with seriousness everything You ask and to reject everything that is not in accordance with Your Law, so that my life may be fully aligned with Your will.

My Father, today I ask You to give me a faithful heart, able to see the blessings that accompany obedience. I know that many times people live without realizing what they lose by not following You with integrity. I do not want to be like that. I want to live each day honoring You, knowing that faithfulness in small things prepares me to face greater challenges. Help me to trust that, by doing what is mine to do today, You will provide everything necessary for my tomorrow.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You safely guide those who obey You with a sincere heart. May my surrender be complete, without reservation, and may I walk with courage and joy, knowing that You are ahead, leading me to the happy life You have prepared for Your faithful ones. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is my faithful beacon, always lighting my way. Your commandments are like seeds planted in my heart, which blossom into constant joys. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me…”

“Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me?” (John 14:9).

These words of Jesus to Philip were not spoken with reproach, nor with surprise, but as loving guidance. The disciples knew Jesus in part, as the One who gave them power over demons and who sparked revivals, but they still did not know Him intimately.

All the discipline of life has a purpose: to enable us to have an intimate relationship with God the Father and with Jesus Christ. But this intimacy is not granted randomly; it comes from faithfulness to divine instructions. Those who do not follow God’s commandments cannot be intimate with Him, because true fellowship with the Creator requires submission and obedience. To obey is the ultimate proof that we truly know God and that we love Him.

Whoever decides, once and for all, to obey the Lord without reservations becomes close to Him, an intimate friend. And this friendship brings with it all the privileges of faithfulness: immeasurable blessings, constant protection, and, most importantly, salvation. God does not hide His heart from those who sincerely seek Him. He reveals Himself to those who obey Him, and these walk in His presence, experiencing an unparalleled communion with the Father and the Son. It is not enough to know about God; it is necessary to live in obedience to truly know Him. -Adapted from O. Chambers. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that it is not enough just to know about You; it is necessary to live in obedience to truly know You. I want more than just to know Your deeds; I desire to truly know You, to walk with You, and to experience Your presence in my life.

My Father, today I ask You to teach me to be faithful to Your instructions, for I know that true intimacy with You comes from obedience. I do not want to merely admire Your works, but to live according to Your will, tasting the joy of being close to You. Give me a heart willing to follow Your commandments without reservations, for I know that obedience is the ultimate proof of true love.

Oh, Most Holy God, I worship and praise You because You do not hide Your heart from those who sincerely seek You. Thank You for revealing Yourself to those who choose to obey You and for allowing those who walk with You to enjoy a deep and transforming communion. May my life be marked by this faithfulness, so that I may know You more each day and experience Your presence and Your blessings. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law accompanies me at all times and has been a faithful friend. Your commandments are like the safe path that guides my steps through life’s uncertainties. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: …knowing that tribulation produces perseverance (Romans…

“…knowing that tribulation produces perseverance” (Romans 5:3).

The strength of our faith is directly linked to our confidence that God will fulfill His promises to those who choose to listen to Him and obey His instructions. True faith is not based on emotions, impressions, or external circumstances. When we mix faith with unstable feelings or with human logic, we cease to trust fully in the Word of God, which by itself is already sufficient. Genuine faith relies solely on the Word of the Lord and, for this reason, brings peace to the heart. We know that God is faithful, and this certainty leads us to obey with all our strength everything He has commanded us.

When we face trials, we must remember that our Heavenly Father allows them for a purpose. He desires to strengthen us, teach us to trust more deeply, and prepare us for even greater blessings. Every tribulation we face is an opportunity to exercise our faith and demonstrate that we trust in obedience to His powerful commandments.

Let us surrender ourselves completely into the hands of our Heavenly Father, knowing that He delights in blessing His faithful children. God not only calls us to obedience, but He sustains and strengthens us along the way. If we remain firm in His Word and obey with all our heart, we will experience the peace, strength, and promises that He has reserved for those who love Him and follow Him faithfully. -Adapted from George Müller. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that the strength of my faith depends entirely on my trust in You and the certainty that You will fulfill Your promises to those who obey You. I know that true faith cannot be based on unstable feelings or human logic, but must be firmly grounded in Your Word, which is sufficient and unchanging. Teach me to trust fully in You, not allowing external circumstances to shake my obedience and my hope in what You have revealed.

My Father, today I ask You to strengthen my faith, especially in times of trial. I know that You allow challenges not to destroy me, but to strengthen me, to teach me to trust more deeply, and to prepare me for something greater. May my faith be refined like gold in the fire, becoming ever purer and firmer before You.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because You are a loving Father who sustains and strengthens those who choose to follow You with all their heart. May I remain firm in Your Word, experiencing the peace, strength, and promises that You have reserved for those who love You and obey You faithfully. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is the anchor that keeps me firm in the faith. My soul finds rest in Your commandments. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: “All these things are against me” (Genesis 42:36)….

“All these things are against me” (Genesis 42:36).

Many people desire to have power, but few are willing to go through the necessary process to receive it. How is this power produced? Once, while observing a large power generator, we asked a local worker: “How does this generate electricity?” He answered simply: “With rotation and friction. The friction creates the electric current.” This explanation also applies to spiritual life. When God wants to bring more power to us, He allows more friction, more pressure. However, many reject this process and try to escape the pressure, missing the opportunity to be strengthened.

The real question is: What does God want from us so that we may obtain power, peace, and happiness? God wants us to listen to Him, and listening to God means obeying what He has revealed through His prophets and His Son Jesus. Obedience generates friction, for many around us are bothered when they see someone living according to God’s Law. The world rejects obedience because it prefers the easier path, the path of accommodation. However, it is this friction that produces spiritual power. The more we submit to God’s will, the more He strengthens us to face any circumstance.

If we are willing to face this opposition, then strength and blessings will flow as electricity flows from the generator. The friction of obedience shapes us, strengthens us, and enables us to live a life full of the Lord. God has not called us to a life of comfort, but to a life of faithfulness, where His power is manifested in those who, no matter the cost, choose to obey. -Adapted from A. B. Simpson. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Dear God, it is true that many times we want power without being willing to go through the necessary process to receive it. But I understand that it is You who allow the pressures to strengthen us, shape us, and enable us to live according to Your will. Help me not to flee from this process, but to face it with courage and perseverance.

My Father, today I ask You to teach me to truly listen to You, not just with my ears, but with the sincere obedience of my heart. I know that following Your commandments can generate friction, because the world rejects obedience and prefers the path of accommodation. But I want to remain firm, even in the face of opposition. Give me strength to continue following Your Law, no matter the cost, for I know that it is on this path that I find true peace, happiness, and Your power working in my life.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore You and praise You because You strengthen those who choose to obey You. Thank You because the friction of obedience is not in vain, but generates spiritual power and brings us closer to You. May I never fear attacks and mockery because of obedience, but may my focus be to please my Father and Jesus. May my life reflect Your faithfulness, and may I persevere to the end. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law teaches me to walk in justice and righteousness. Your commandments are my source of wisdom. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
