According to Jesus, John the Baptist was the greatest of all men born of women because his mission was the most noble: to prepare the way for the Messiah. John did not appear out of nowhere; his mission was prophesied in the Old Testament, which is why he was accepted by all. Apart from John, there is no prophecy about any other man with a divine mission. Likewise, Jesus never warned us about someone—whether inside or outside the Bible—whom we should listen to and follow after Him. The doctrine of “unmerited favor” emerged only after Jesus returned to the Father and has no foundation in His words, making it a false doctrine, no matter how old or popular it may be. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are still alive. | “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)
