“Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen!” (Matthew 28:20).
God continues to guide us today in the same way He guided His people in biblical times—with patience, love, and clarity. He reveals His truths to us at the right moment, as we are ready to receive them. These teachings are not mere suggestions, but commandments that require obedience and commitment. Following Jesus means responding to these calls that reach our hearts in a simple yet powerful way, illuminating duties we may not have considered before. This is how Christ calls us today: a continual invitation to obedience to the Father, just as He Himself demonstrated in His life.
Jesus does not establish a relationship with us based on spectacles or extraordinary miracles, but on daily and faithful fellowship. He calls us to live as He lived, following the laws and teachings of the Father with total submission. Just as Jesus, the apostles, and the early disciples obeyed, we are called to do the same, for obedience is the way to be in tune with God. When we follow this path, we experience the deep peace of knowing we are in harmony with the Father and the Son.
Faithful obedience to God brings natural and wonderful consequences. When we choose to follow His laws, our soul is flooded with the certainty that all is well between us and Him. And from this restored communion, blessings flow into our lives and our homes. Pray with me: Dear God, I thank You because You continue to guide us with patience, love, and clarity, just as You did with Your people in biblical times. Your truths are revealed at the right time, and each one is a call to obedience and commitment. I ask that You help me to recognize and respond to these calls with humility, so that my life may reflect the faithfulness that Jesus demonstrated in following Your will.
My Father, help me to live in daily communion with You, following the example of Jesus, who showed us the importance of obeying You in everything. I do not want to base my relationship with You on grand events, but on daily and sincere surrender to Your Word. Teach me to trust and walk in harmony with You, so that I may experience the deep peace of being in tune with Your heart and Your will.
Oh, Most Holy God, I praise You for the blessings that come from a life of obedience. Thank You because, as I honor You with my choices, You pour out Your favor upon me and my household. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is my reliable compass toward eternal life. Your commandments are like the gentle breeze that soothes and calms my thoughts. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
