The main factor for salvation is pleasing the Creator. No Jew or gentile will enter heaven if God is not pleased with that person. No one will be saved just for thinking, speaking, or singing beautiful things about God and Jesus while ignoring His eternal laws. However, when the gentile decides to obey the Creator, no matter the cost, everything changes between him and God. The gentile who seeks salvation in Jesus must follow the same laws that the Lord gave to the nation He set apart for Himself with an eternal covenant. The Father sees the faith and courage of this gentile, even in the face of challenges, pours out His love on him, unites him to Israel, and leads him to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. This plan of salvation makes sense because it is true. | “We receive from Him whatever we ask because we obey His commandments and do what pleases Him.” (1 John 3:22)
Whenever Jesus refers to the Scriptures, He is speaking of the Old Testament, not of writings that would arise after His return to the Father. The true plan of salvation for the gentiles is also based on the Old Testament and the words of Jesus in the Gospels. If God had sent instructions for salvation through someone after Christ, He would have warned us through the prophets and His Son, but there is no prophecy about sending another person after Christ. We must listen only to Jesus, who taught us that the Father sends us to the Son, and the Father sends only those who follow the laws given to Israel, the same laws that Jesus and His apostles followed. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. | “All that the Father gives me will come to me; and whoever comes to me, I will never cast out.” (John 6:37)
Many in the church mistakenly believe that the laws of God that must be obeyed depend on the will and circumstances of each person. They were taught that God understands everyone’s situation and accepts the acts of obedience that the person chooses to do, as long as they are from the heart. This “god” (with a lowercase g) is an invention, a product of the false doctrine of ”unmerited favor,” which everyone loves. What Jesus really taught is that it is the Father who sends us to the Son, and the Father only sends those who follow the laws He gave to the nation He set apart for Himself with an eternal covenant. God observes our obedience and, seeing our faithfulness, unites us to Israel and delivers us to Jesus. | “All that the Father gives me will come to me; and whoever comes to me, I will never cast out.” (John 6:37)
When God made the eternal covenant with Abraham and sealed it with the sign of circumcision, He stated that all the nations of the earth, not just the Jews, would be blessed through this covenant. It is a mistake to think that Jesus came to found a new religion for the gentiles. From His birth to His death on the cross, Jesus remained faithful to Israel and never suggested that gentiles would be saved apart from Israel. The gentile who wishes to be saved by Christ must follow the same laws that the Father gave to the chosen nation for His honor and glory. The Father sees the faith and courage of this gentile, despite the difficulties. He pours out His love on him, unites him to Israel, and leads him to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. This is the plan of salvation that makes sense because it is true. | The gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds firmly to my covenant, I will also bring to my holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
With their mouths full of theological jargon and impactful phrases, many leaders teach that if someone who has accepted Jesus decides to obey all the commandments of Jesus’ Father, instead of going to heaven, God will send them to hell, because, according to them, that person would be rejecting the Son. This fantasy has not the slightest support in the words of Jesus in the Gospels and is therefore of human origin. What Jesus made more than clear is that it is the Father who sends us to the Son. And the Father only sends those who follow the same laws given to the nation He set apart for Himself with an everlasting covenant. God observes us and, seeing our obedience, even in the face of opposition, He unites us to Israel and delivers us to Jesus. | “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:44)
Many do not like the idea that God chose only one people for Himself, but the reality is that the Lord acts according to His will, in the time and manner He decides. Both the Old Testament and the words of Jesus in the Gospels affirm that there is no relationship with God outside of Israel, the nation He set apart for Himself and sealed with the eternal covenant of circumcision. God chose this path so that each person could choose between life and eternal death. Gentiles can join Israel and be blessed by God, as long as they follow the same laws given to Israel. The serpent does not need to declare open war against Jesus to convince multitudes to follow the path of disobedience and eternal death; it only creates teachings in churches that did not come from the lips of Christ in the four gospels. Its masterpiece was the heresy of “unmerited favor”: a fatal deception that makes man believe he can despise the powerful and eternal Law of God and still be received in heaven with kisses and hugs. Jew or gentile, the true follower of Christ lives as His apostles and disciples lived. All of them obeyed the commandment of the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. Do not follow the majority; obey while you are alive. | “Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” (2 John 9)
God did not strike Nadab and Abihu down for an endless list of sins, but for treating what was holy with contempt. And does today’s church not do the same when it ignores the powerful and unchanging Law of God? The Blood of the Lamb was not given to cover those who know the commandments but disobey; it was given to purify those who seek to obey the Father in everything. Jews or gentiles, we can only be sure of salvation if we live as Jesus and His apostles lived, obeying the entire holy Law of God: the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. Do not follow the majority; obey while you are alive. | “Whoever says: I know Him, but does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1 John 2:4)
The end has already come, and this is the message of the end: to love God with all your heart and obey every commandment He gave us through the prophets in the Old Testament and through Jesus in the four Gospels. This was the way of life of the apostles and disciples of Christ, total faithfulness to the Law of the Father and to the Son whom He sent. Any leader who brings another message, no matter how convincing it may seem, does not speak for the Lord. On the day of judgment, telling the Judge that you only followed your leader will be useless. The only valid defense will be obedience. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “Ah! My people! Those who guide you mislead you and destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)
It is frightening to see how many Christians base themselves on the behavior of the wayward early church to justify their own disobedience. As if the fact that men abandoned commandments such as forbidden meats, the Sabbath, circumcision, the beard, and the tzitzits were a reason for us to do the same. God never told us to copy rebels. He told us to follow His Son. And the Son received the Law from the Father, lived every commandment, and taught His apostles and disciples to do the same. Those who rejected the Law after that only proved the influence of the serpent, not a new path for us. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | “Whoever says: I know Him, but does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1 John 2:2-6)
