Daily Devotional: Make me to know your ways, Lord; teach me your paths…

“Make me to know your ways, Lord; teach me your paths” (Psalm 25:4).

There is nothing so pure, so striking, as the first whispers of God’s voice to our hearts. It is in these moments that duty is clear—without confusion, without a shadow of doubt. But often, we complicate what is simple. We let feelings, fears, or personal desires get in the way, and with that we lose the clarity of divine direction. We begin to “consider,” “reflect,” “wait a little longer”… when, in truth, we are just looking for an excuse not to obey. Delayed obedience is, in practice, disguised disobedience.

God has not left us in the dark. Since Eden, He has made clear what He expects from His creatures: faithfulness, obedience, holiness. His powerful Law is the manual for true happiness. But the rebellious heart tries to argue, tries to twist the Scriptures, tries to justify error—and wastes time. God is not deceived. He sees the heart. He knows the innermost being. And He does not bless those who refuse to obey. The blessing is upon those who surrender, upon those who say: “Not my will, but Yours, Lord.”

If you want peace, if you wish to be restored and find true purpose, there is only one way: obedience. Do not wait to feel ready, do not wait to understand everything—just begin. Begin to obey, begin to follow the commandments of the Creator with a sincere heart. God will see this willingness and will come to meet you. He will ease your suffering, transform your heart, and send you to His beloved Son for forgiveness and salvation. The time for hesitation is over. The time to obey is now. -Adapted from Frederick William Robertson. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Eternal Father, thank you because You still speak to the hearts of those who sincerely seek You. Your voice is clear to those who desire to obey. I no longer want to rationalize, nor delay what You have already shown me. Give me a humble heart, one that responds promptly to Your direction. Teach me to obey while the calling is still fresh, before my feelings interfere with Your truth.

Lord, I acknowledge that many times I have been dishonest with myself, trying to justify my disobedience with excuses. But today I place myself before You with a broken heart. I want to abandon my will, my pride, and follow Your ways with reverence and love. Guide me in Your Law, strengthen me to fulfill all that You have commanded, and purify me with Your truth.

Oh, Most Holy God, I worship and praise You for being just, holy, and unchanging. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is like a shining beacon in the darkness, guiding the faithful along paths of life. Your commandments are like solid stones underfoot, sustaining those who trust in You and revealing the way of true peace. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms sustain you…

“The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms sustain you” (Deuteronomy 33:27).

There are moments when all we need is rest—a rest that goes beyond the body, that reaches the soul. And it is in this place that the everlasting arms of God embrace us. There is no more powerful image of divine care than this: arms that never grow weary, never give up, never let go. Even when we face the weight of battles and doubts, He tenderly sustains those who choose to obey. The Lord’s arms are shelter, strength, and life—but only for those who live according to His will.

The promise of rest and care is not for everyone—it is for the faithful. God reveals Himself and pours out His favor on those who keep His commandments. His mighty Law is the fertile ground where His goodness dwells, and outside of it there is only sorrow. When you decide to live according to this Law, even in the midst of difficulties, you show that you depend solely on Him—and this deeply gladdens the Father’s heart. Obedience is the language He understands; it is the covenant He honors.

So, the next time you feel exhausted or lost, remember: there are everlasting arms outstretched for the faithful. These arms not only offer comfort, but also power to go on. God does not sustain the rebellious—He sustains the obedient. He guides and strengthens those who delight in His Law. Obey, trust, and you will see—the peace that comes from the Lord is real, the rest is deep, and the love He pours out on His own is eternal and invincible. -Adapted from Adeline D. T. Whitney. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Beloved Father, how precious it is to know that Your everlasting arms sustain those who obey You. In difficult days, in silent nights, it is Your care that guards me and Your faithfulness that renews me. Thank You for surrounding me with Your presence and for showing that those who keep Your commandments will never be alone. Teach me to rest in You, with a heart firm in obedience.

Lord, renew in me the holy fear that leads to faithfulness. Remove from me all pride and every desire to follow my own ways. I choose to please You. I want to walk in righteousness, because I know that is where Your blessing is manifested. May my life be living proof that following Your Law is the only path to true peace and true salvation.

Oh, Most Holy God, I worship and praise You for being a refuge for the righteous and a Consuming Fire for the rebellious. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is like a wall of justice that protects those who fear You and rejects those who despise You. Your commandments are like fixed stars in the sky: firm, unchanging, and full of glory. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: Pray that the Lord your God will show us what we should…

“Pray that the Lord your God will show us what we should do and where we should go” (Jeremiah 42:3).

Happiness is not something achieved through human effort or imposed on others with empty advice. It is a natural consequence of well-made choices—choices that do not always please the moment, but that honor God. Fleeting pleasure may even entice, but it always exacts a high price in the end. Obedience, though it requires self-denial, brings peace, meaning, and above all, divine approval. When we choose to follow God’s voice instead of our impulses, we take a step toward real, lasting, and eternal happiness.

This is where God’s formula comes in: obedience to His powerful Law. It may seem old-fashioned to some, but it is the secret to true happiness. God does not ask us for anything impossible. His commandments are not a burden; they are protection. They are safe paths for sincere souls. What He expects from us is just the first step—the decision to obey. When that step is taken with faith and sincerity, He steps in. He strengthens, encourages, and sustains. God never abandons those who choose the path of obedience.

And the end of this journey? It is glorious. The Father walks with us, blesses us, opens doors, heals wounds, transforms our story, and leads us to the greatest gift: Jesus, our Savior. Nothing compares to the joy of living in covenant with God, fulfilling His commandments with joy and confidence. The formula is within our reach—and it works. Obey, and you will see. -Adapted from George Eliot. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Father, I thank You for not hiding from us the path to true happiness. I know the world offers shortcuts that seem good, but only Your Word is safe. Today, I renounce the fleeting pleasure that draws me away from You and choose to obey You, because I believe that Your will is always best. Teach me to trust in Your formula, even when my heart wavers.

Lord, I acknowledge that I need Your help. Sometimes the desires of the flesh speak louder, but I do not want to live enslaved by them. I want to be free—free to obey, free to please You, free to live in fellowship with You. Create in me a steadfast heart, one that loves You more than it loves its own desires. And may this obedience draw me closer to Your plan and Your presence.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You for revealing such a clear path to true happiness. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is like a heavenly fragrance that purifies the soul and fills life with purpose. Your commandments are like rays of sunshine that warm the heart and illuminate every step in the midst of darkness. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth…

“All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies” (Psalm 25:10).

If God has placed us in a certain place, with certain challenges, it is because He wants to be glorified through our lives right there. Nothing is by chance. Many times we want to run away, change the scenery, wait for everything to be resolved before we obey. But God calls us to obey now, exactly where we are. The place of pain, frustration, struggle—that is the altar where we can offer Him our faithfulness. And when we choose to obey in the midst of adversity, that is where the kingdom of God is manifested with power.

There are people who live in constant discouragement, trapped in cycles of suffering, thinking that all is lost. But the truth is simple and transformative: what is lacking is not strength, money, or recognition. What is lacking is obedience. Obedience to the powerful Law of God—this is the secret of the men and women who made history in the Bible. It was not the absence of struggles, but the presence of faithfulness. When we obey, God acts. When we obey, He changes the course of our story.

You can experience this change today. It is not necessary to understand everything, nor to have everything resolved. It is enough to decide in your heart to obey the commandments of the Lord. Just as it happened with Abraham, Moses, David, John the Baptist, and Mary, God will begin to work in your life. He will set you free, bless you, and above all, send you to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. Obedience is the way. -Adapted from John Hamilton Thom. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Lord my God, I recognize that I do not always understand Your ways, but I trust that everything has a purpose. I know that the place where I am today is not by chance. Therefore, I ask You to help me be faithful and obedient even in difficult situations. May I not waste the opportunities You give me to manifest Your kingdom through my life.

Beloved Father, remove from me all discouragement, all spiritual blindness. Give me an obedient heart, willing to do Your will even when it is hard. I no longer want to walk in circles or live in stagnation. I want to live Your purpose and experience the change that only Your Word can produce.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore You and praise You for being such a wise and merciful Father. Even when I do not understand, You are working for me. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is like a river of justice that purifies, strengthens, and leads to life. Your commandments are paths of light in a world of darkness, perfect guides for those who want to live in You. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: The righteous cry out, the Lord hears them and delivers them from all…

“The righteous cry out, the Lord hears them and delivers them from all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17).

In the midst of a fast-paced routine, it is easy to neglect what truly matters: our communion with God. But do not be deceived, dear brother or sister—there is no sanctification without quality time with the Lord. This daily communion is not a luxury for the super-spiritual, but a necessity for all of us. It is in this communion that we find strength to go on, wisdom to decide, and peace to endure. And all of this begins with a choice: obedience. Before we seek beautiful words in prayer or comfort in meditation, we need to be willing to obey what God has already revealed to us.

There is no point in trying to skip steps. Obedience to the Lord’s commandments is not an accessory to faith—it is the very foundation. Many think they can relate to God in their own way, ignoring His instructions, as if He were a permissive father who accepts everything. But the Word is clear: God reveals Himself to those who obey Him. When we show, through concrete actions, that we take His will seriously, He responds. He does not ignore obedient hearts. On the contrary, He acts swiftly to heal us, transform us, and guide us to Jesus.

If you desire a transformed life, you need to start with obedience. It is not easy, I know. Sometimes it means giving up something we like or facing the criticism of others. But there is no greater reward than feeling God near, working powerfully in our lives. He does not reveal Himself in the midst of rebellion, but in sincere surrender. When we choose to obey, even without understanding everything, heaven moves. And that is where the process of sanctification truly begins—with acts of faithfulness that touch the Father’s heart. -Adapted from Henry Edward Manning. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Dear Father, in this world full of distractions and pressures, I recognize that I need to return to the center: to Your presence. Help me to make obedience the first step of my daily journey. May I not be deceived by empty forms of religiosity, but may my heart always be willing to follow Your commandments sincerely. Teach me to prioritize time with You and not to trade Your will for anything in this world.

Lord, strengthen me to live with faithfulness, even when it means swimming against the current. I know You are pleased with those who obey You from the heart, and that is what I want to be: someone who brings joy to Your heart with actions, not just words. Shape me, transform me, deliver me from all spiritual stubbornness, and lead me to true communion with You, the kind that refreshes and restores.

Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You for being faithful, just, and patient. Your wisdom is perfect and Your ways are higher than mine. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is like a source of light in the midst of darkness, revealing the path of life. Your commandments are like precious jewels, adorning the soul and leading to true peace. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Daily Devotional: The Lord is the one who goes before you; He will be with you…

“The Lord is the one who goes before you; He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:8).

When life seems too heavy to bear, remember: you are not facing anything alone. God never abandons His own. Even when you do not see Him, His hand remains steady, guiding you through difficulties. Instead of letting yourself sink into pain or fear, anchor your soul in the trust that He is in control. What seems unbearable today will, in due time, be transformed by Him into something good. He works behind the scenes with perfection, and your faith is what will keep you steadfast, even when everything around you seems to be falling apart.

But have you ever wondered exactly what work God is doing in your life? The answer is simple and unchanging: God is leading you to obey His mighty Law. This is the work He does in all who truly love Him. He does not force anyone, but draws with love those whose hearts are willing to listen. And to these, He reveals His magnificent Law—a Law that transforms, that sets free, that protects, that blesses, and that leads to salvation. It is through obedience that the creature begins to understand its purpose.

And when this decision for obedience happens, everything changes. God sends this faithful soul to His Son, and finally life begins to make sense. The emptiness goes away, direction arrives, and the heart begins to walk in peace. That is why nothing is more important in this life than hearing the voice of God and following every commandment He revealed through the prophets and through Jesus. This is the narrow, but safe, path. At its end is eternal life. -Adapted from Isaac Penington. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Lord my God, when life seems heavy and my steps falter, help me to remember that You are with me. Even when my eyes do not see You, I want to trust that Your hand is guiding me with love and faithfulness. Do not let pain or fear dominate me. Strengthen my faith, so that I may remain steadfast even in the midst of storms. I know that nothing escapes Your control, and that You are using every difficulty to shape me and lead me to Your will.

Reveal to me, Father, the work You are doing in my life. I know it begins with obedience to Your holy Law—this powerful Law that transforms, sets free, protects, and saves. I want to have a heart that is gentle to Your voice, ready to listen and willing to obey. Remove from me all pride, all resistance, and give me the joy of living according to Your commandments. I know that on this path I will find peace, purpose, and true direction.

Lead me, Lord, to Your beloved Son. May my faithfulness to You lead me to know more deeply the Savior, the one who gives meaning to life and opens the doors of eternity. May I never stray from this narrow path, but follow with perseverance, with love, and with total surrender. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Daily Devotional: Be silent before the Lord (Zechariah 2:13).

“Be silent before the Lord” (Zechariah 2:13).

There is rarely complete silence within us. Even on the most confusing days, there is always a whisper coming from above—the voice of God, gentle and constant, trying to guide, comfort, and direct us. The problem is not that God is silent, but that the rush, the noise, and the distractions of the world drown out that divine whisper. We are so busy trying to solve everything our own way that we forget to stop, listen, and surrender. But when the chaos loses its strength, and we take a step back—when we slow down and let our hearts become calm—that is when we can hear what God has always been saying.

God sees our pain. He knows every tear, every anguish, and delights in offering us relief. But there is a condition that cannot be ignored: He will never act powerfully on behalf of those who insist on disobeying what He has already revealed so clearly. The commandments the Lord gave through His prophets and through Jesus in the Gospels are eternal, holy, and non-negotiable. To disregard them is to walk toward darkness, even while thinking we are on the right path. Disobedience distances us from the voice of God and deepens our suffering.

But the path of obedience changes everything. When we choose to be faithful—when we listen to the Lord’s voice and follow it with courage—we make room for Him to act freely in our lives. It is in this fertile soil of faithfulness that God plants deliverance, pours out blessings, and reveals the way of salvation in Christ. Make no mistake: only those who obey hear the voice of God. Only those who surrender to His will are set free. And only those who walk the narrow road of obedience to the mighty Law of the Most High are saved. -Adapted from Frederick William Faber. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Lord, amid the noise of this world and the confusion of my own thoughts, teach me to silence everything that keeps me from hearing Your voice. I know You never stop speaking—You are constant, faithful, present—but I so often get lost in distractions. Help me to slow down, to pause before Your presence, and to recognize the gentle whisper of Your Spirit guiding me with love. May I not run from Your voice, but desire it more than anything else.

Father, I acknowledge that Your will has already been clearly revealed, through the prophets and through Your beloved Son. And I know I cannot ask for direction, comfort, or blessing if I continue to ignore Your commandments. Do not let me be deceived, thinking I follow You while disobeying Your Law. Give me a humble, steadfast, and faithful heart—ready to obey without reservation, to walk the narrow road that leads to life.

Act freely in me, Lord. Plant Your truth in my heart, water it with Your Spirit, and cause faithfulness, peace, and salvation to bear fruit. May my life be fertile ground for Your work, and may obedience be my daily yes to Your will. Speak, Lord—I want to hear You, I want to follow You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Daily Devotional: Therefore, if you suffer because you are doing God’s will…

“Therefore, if you suffer because you are doing the will of God, continue to do what is right and entrust your life to the One who created you, for He is faithful” (1 Peter 4:19).

Do not hold on to your pain. As real and heavy as it may seem, it is not greater than the One who can set you free. Sadness, fear, and the troubles of this world try to steal your vision, making everything seem lost. But there is a better way. Instead of focusing on suffering, lift your eyes and look beyond it. God not only sees your struggle—He knows how to use it for your good. Your Deliverer has power over everything that seems impossible today.

The answer to life’s problems is not found in human theories nor in the advice of leaders who reject the instructions already revealed by God, which are His holy and eternal laws. Every difficulty, without exception, finds a solution when we wholeheartedly surrender to the powerful Law of the Creator. There is a real, deep, and transforming power in obedience that only those who have decided to obey can know. The soul that aligns itself with God’s will discovers a new strength, an unexpected peace, and a direction that no one on earth could ever offer.

Therefore, stop suffering needlessly. Refusing the Creator’s intervention is to continue walking in darkness even with the light shining before you. Decide today to reject the false teachers who subtly preach against the Lord’s commandments and sincerely return to obedience. Follow every commandment that God gave to His prophets and to Jesus in the Gospels. This is the path of healing, deliverance, and eternal life. There is no other. -Adapted from Isaac Penington. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Lord, today I give You all my pain. I know it is real, but I recognize that Your power is much greater than any suffering I may feel. I no longer want to live focusing on afflictions, nor be guided by sadness or fear. I want to lift my eyes and see Your outstretched hand, ready to set me free. You are my Deliverer, and I trust that You are working even in the struggles I do not understand.

Help me, Father, to reject the advice of the world and of leaders who speak against Your Law. Teach me to trust in Your instructions, already revealed by the prophets and Jesus, for I know that in them is the answer to everything I face. I want to obey every commandment You have revealed, with faith and sincerity. Even when it is hard, even when it seems lonely, may my heart remain steadfast in Your ways.

Holy Spirit, guide me with Your light. Remove from me all resistance, all deception, and all rebellion. May I never walk in darkness again, now that I know the truth. Give me strength to follow faithfully, step by step, until the day I see Your face and worship You forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Daily Devotional: Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, never abandon…

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, never abandon those who seek you” (Psalm 9:10).

The souls that grow most in intimacy with God are those that do not hide behind excuses. They do not live trapped in the past nor waste time complaining about circumstances. On the contrary, they look back with spiritual discernment, recognizing that even in difficult times, God was there—drawing near, calling, reaching out His hand. These people do not deny their mistakes, but neither do they use them as a shield. They have enough humility to admit that they have failed, that many times they ignored the blessings and despised the signs of God.

This kind of heart is the one that hears the call of the Holy Spirit clearly. It is a heart that does not justify itself, but surrenders. That does not seek excuses, but direction. By recognizing its condition as a creature, this soul understands that blessing, deliverance, and salvation come only through obedience. Obedience to the same laws that the Father gave to Israel—and that Jesus, with His life and teachings, confirmed as being eternal, just, and good.

These souls will not be deceived by false arguments, nor will they bow to leaders who preach against the holy Law of God. They know that disobedience has never been, nor will ever be, a path to blessing. And so, with faith and courage, they turn to the Creator with all their strength, determined to obey—no matter the cost. For they know there is only one path that leads to life: faithfulness to the Father, expressed in every commandment He has given us. This is the path that the Holy Spirit reveals to the humble and obedient. -Adapted from James Martineau. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Lord, today I place myself before You with an open and humble heart. I no longer want to hide behind excuses, nor justify my failures with empty arguments. I know that in many moments I ignored Your blessings, despised Your signs, and walked in the opposite direction of Your will. But now, sincerely, I acknowledge my failures and surrender to Your call.

Holy Spirit, speak to me clearly. I do not want to resist Your voice or harden my heart. Teach me to obey the laws that the Father revealed to His people and that Jesus confirmed with His life. I want to walk this holy path, even if the world rejects it, even if it costs me comfort, approval, or security. Your will is better than anything else.

Lord, deliver me from false teachings that despise Your Law. Give me discernment to recognize error, courage to oppose lies, and strength to remain firm in the truth. May my life be marked by faithfulness to the Father, in every thought, attitude, and choice. Show me, at every step, that true peace, true deliverance, and true salvation are found in obedience. And that nothing is worth more than being at the center of Your will. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Daily Devotional: I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will…

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand” (John 10:28).

If every sincere Christian truly surrendered their will to the Lord, they would find more than enough strength to remain faithful until the end. So why do we so often fail to persevere? The answer is not in the absence of strength, but in the instability of our will. We do not lack power—the Holy Spirit dwells in us. And when we fully surrender to God’s will, He never abandons us halfway. It is not God’s strength that fails; it is our resolve that weakens first.

Obeying God’s will, perfectly expressed in His Law, does not depend on feelings or circumstances. It is a matter of decision and perspective. When we see this life for what it truly is—fleeting and full of pitfalls—we realize that our choices have eternal weight. And that faithfulness here is shaping our eternal destiny. The life we live today is preparation for what we will live forever. That is why steadfastness of heart and commitment to God cannot be postponed.

If we recognize that soon we will leave everything behind, then there is no wiser decision than to obey God with all our heart. All His commandments are just, holy, and eternal. And if we were created by Him, nothing is more logical than submitting to His will. Obedience to God’s powerful Law is not just a duty—it is the only sensible path for any creature who has understood the value of eternity. Decide today to obey, and you will discover that the power to remain is already within you. -Adapted from Henry Edward Manning. Until tomorrow, if the Lord allows us.

Pray with me: Lord, my God, I thank You because power from You never fails. Your strength is perfect, constant, and sufficient to sustain me until the end. If I have faltered, it is not because You have abandoned me, but because my will wavered in the face of the pressures and distractions of this world. Today, with humility, I acknowledge this before You and I ask: strengthen my decision. Establish my heart in obedience. May I not depend on feelings or circumstances, but on Your Word, on Your Law—holy, just, and eternal.

Father, help me to live with my eyes on eternity. Remove from me every illusion that this life is my final destination. Make me see that every choice here is shaping my place in Your Kingdom. Teach me not to postpone faithfulness. Give me courage to obey now, with all my heart, with all my strength, with all my understanding. May Your powerful Law be my foundation, my guide, and my shield.

You created me, Lord, and nothing is more logical, more certain, and wiser than submitting myself to Your will. Obedience to You is not just my duty—it is the way of life, of peace, and of salvation. I know that Your Spirit dwells in me, and therefore the power to remain is already present. May I decide, today and every day, to live to please You. And may my life, shaped by Your Law, glorify You now and for all eternity. In Jesus’ name, amen.
