God made an eternal covenant with one man in the Bible and, from that man, created, protected, and set apart a nation for Himself, promising never to abandon it. It was to this and for this nation that God sent His Son, as a sacrifice for their sins. It is important to make clear: God did not set apart several nations, but only one, formed by the descendants of Isaac, son of Abraham, and the Gentiles of his household. No Gentile will be saved outside of Israel, as only one nation was chosen by God. The Gentile who wishes to be saved by Jesus needs to follow the same laws that the Father gave to the nation of which Jesus was a part. The Father sees our faith and courage, unites us with Israel, and leads us to the Son. This plan of salvation makes sense because it is the true one. | The Gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, being thus His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
Soon after Jesus’ ascension, the devil realized that many Gentiles would be interested in seeking the God of Israel, now that Christ had fulfilled His mission and the Holy Spirit had been sent. The enemy fabricated the idea that Christ founded a new religion for Gentiles: they invented a name, created doctrines and traditions, and, most seriously, lied, saying that obedience to God’s laws is not necessary for salvation. None of these things have a basis in the four Gospels, but the strategy worked, and millions follow this deception. What Jesus really taught is that the Father sends us to the Son, and the Father only sends those who seek to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus and His apostles themselves followed. | “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.” John 6:65
Any doctrine about salvation needs the support of Jesus’ words in the four Gospels and the Old Testament to be true. The plan of salvation taught to Gentiles in our days does not come from Jesus or God’s prophets; it is a false doctrine. Yet, Gentiles accept it with joy. First, because almost everyone around them accepts it, and thus, they feel safe in the crowd. Second, because, even though false, this doctrine allows them to continue loving this world to which they are deeply attached. Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus and His apostles themselves followed. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. | The Gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, being thus His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
The faithful servant does not make decisions based on what they think is right, but on what the Lord commanded through the prophets and Jesus. They discard their own understanding and accept God’s Law without question, because they recognize that, even when something seems right, their mind is fallible, but the Creator is perfect in everything. The Gentiles that the Father sends to the Son for forgiveness and salvation have this attitude. Even if the majority ignore the laws of God revealed in the Old Testament, they choose to go against the tide and obey the Father’s laws with all their strength. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.” Psalm 119:4
The only route that leads Gentiles to Jesus is through the nation that the Lord set apart for Himself with a perpetual covenant, sealed by the sign of circumcision: Israel. The Lord is an organized God, who faithfully fulfills everything He declares. He is the God of Israel and no other nation, past or present. In none of the Gospels did Jesus imply that He would be creating a new religion for Gentiles, nor did He designate any man, whether inside or outside the Bible, for this mission. Any Gentile can join Israel and be blessed by God, as long as they follow the same laws that the Lord gave to Israel. The Father sees the faith and courage of this Gentile, despite the difficulties. He pours out His love on them, unites them with Israel, and leads them to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. | The Gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, being thus His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
Only God, the Author of the holy and eternal Law, can make any changes to it. Even Jesus, being one with the Father, affirmed that He only spoke and did what the Father commanded Him. The Gentile who refuses to obey the laws that God gave to His people in the Old Testament, based on interpretations of what someone, inside or outside the Bible, wrote, will face a bitter surprise at the final judgment. There are no prophecies, neither in the Old Testament nor in the words of Jesus, that warn that God would give a man, after Jesus, the power to alter His laws. This is not written. Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus and His apostles themselves followed. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. | “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.” Deuteronomy 4:2
During His days on earth, Jesus was impressed by the faith of some Gentiles, but even so, He never called them to follow Him. He made it clear that He did not come into the world to lead the Gentiles, but to be the perfect and eternal sacrifice for the sins of His people, Israel. This does not mean that God does not save Gentiles, but rather that the salvation of all souls stems from the covenant of faithfulness He made with Abraham. The Gentile who wishes to be saved by Christ needs to follow the same laws that the Father gave to the chosen nation for His honor and glory. The Father observes their faith and courage, despite the challenges, pours out His love on them, unites them with Israel, and leads them to Jesus. This is the plan of salvation that makes sense because it is true. | “Jesus sent out the twelve with the following instructions: Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans; but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Matthew 10:5-6
God has always expected His people to obey His laws with all their effort, but this has never meant a requirement of absolute perfection, with no room for mistakes. Proof of this is that it was God Himself who instituted the sacrificial system and, in due time, sent His Son as the Lamb of God. The doctrine that the Law was canceled because no one can obey it perfectly finds no support in the prophets or the words of Jesus. Christ died as a substitute for those who love God and prove this love by striving to follow His laws. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.” Psalm 119:4
The Gentile who truly believes in Jesus must be willing to live exactly as He and His apostles lived, so that their faith results in blessings and salvation. Jesus taught, both by words and example, that claiming to love God without faithfully obeying all His commandments is futile. The Gentile who wishes to be saved by Christ must follow the same laws that the Father gave to the chosen nation for His honor and glory. The Father sees the faith and courage of this Gentile, despite the difficulties. He pours out His love on them, unites them with Israel, and leads them to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. This is the plan of salvation that makes sense because it is true. Do not be swayed by the majority just because they are many. We have reached the end. | “Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
The church completely ignores Jesus’ warning that few even find the door to salvation. People prefer to cover their ears and pretend everything is fine between them and God. But it’s not! God has made it clear numerous times that there would be blessings and salvation for those who obeyed His laws, but curses and suffering for those who despised them. Almost no one diligently seeks to follow the laws the Lord gave to the prophets in the Old Testament, and the consequences, both current and eternal, are already visible. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | “Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter through it.” Matthew 7:13
