God has always expected His people to obey His laws with all their effort, but this has never meant a requirement of absolute perfection, with no room for mistakes. Proof of this is that it was God Himself who instituted the sacrificial system and, in due time, sent His Son as the Lamb of God. The doctrine that the Law was canceled because no one can obey it perfectly finds no support in the prophets or the words of Jesus. Christ died as a substitute for those who love God and prove this love by striving to follow His laws. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.” Psalm 119:4
