In many churches, leaders claim to preach a message of peace, but they never teach that obedience to God’s holy and eternal laws is necessary for the soul to have peace with Him and achieve salvation in Christ. The peace these churches offer is deceptive, as it is based neither on what God revealed through the prophets nor on the words of Jesus. As long as an individual refuses to obey God’s Law, they are in rebellion against the Creator, and the last thing they can expect is God’s peace. True peace is found only by those who follow the laws God gave to Israel in the Old Testament, the same laws that Jesus and the apostles followed. Only to these does the Father pour out His love and send them to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. | “Ah, my people! Those who guide you lead you astray and destroy the paths you walk.” Isaiah 3:12
