If an individual said in church: “I do not deserve to be saved!”, but sought to faithfully obey the laws that God gave to His prophets and Jesus, he would be an excellent example of humility, worthy of being imitated. But in practice, the majority in the church often repeat this phrase, while obeying God’s Law is the last thing on their minds. In their understanding distorted by the serpent, they believe that, precisely because they do not deserve it, they can ignore God’s laws and still reach heaven. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | “You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.” Psalms 119:4
