The true way to relate to God has always been through the physical. With each act of physical obedience, we draw closer to God and show that we trust our destiny to Him. It has been this way from the beginning: Noah had to build an ark, Abraham had to leave his land, Moses had to confront Pharaoh, and the apostles had to abandon their boats and nets. Only when the individual seeks, with all their strength, to obey the laws that God gave to the prophets of the Old Testament, even if everyone opposes, do they prove to the Lord that they are determined to inherit eternal life. The Father sees their faith and courage, despite the difficulties. He pours out His love on them, unites them with Israel, and leads them to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. | “Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!” Deuteronomy 5:29
