All writings that emerged after Jesus’ ascension, whether inside or outside the Bible, should be considered auxiliary and secondary, as there are no prophecies about the arrival of any man with the mission to teach us something that Jesus did not teach. Any doctrine that is not in line with Jesus’ words in the four Gospels must be rejected as false, regardless of its origin, duration, or popularity. The doctrine of “unmerited favor” has no basis in Jesus’ words and is therefore false. What Jesus taught is that the Father sends us to the Son, and the Father only sends those who follow the same laws given to the nation He set apart for Himself with a perpetual covenant, laws that Jesus and His apostles followed. | “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 4:2
