Daily Devotional: “Walk before Me and be blameless” (Genesis 17:1).

“Walk before Me and be blameless” (Genesis 17:1).

Much is said about holiness, but few truly understand its essence. To be holy is to walk with God, as Enoch did—to live with a single purpose: to please the Father. When the heart is set on this one goal, life becomes simple and full of meaning. Many are content to be merely forgiven, but miss the privilege of walking side by side with the Creator, feeling the joy of His presence in every step.

This deep fellowship flourishes when we choose to live according to the magnificent commandments of the Most High. Holiness is not just an inner feeling, but a constant practice of obedience, a daily walk in harmony with God’s will. Whoever keeps His words discovers that each act of faithfulness is a step closer to the Father’s heart.

So, decide today to walk with God. Seek to please Him in everything, and His presence will become your greatest joy. The Father delights in those who obey Him and leads them to the Son, where true holiness is transformed into eternal fellowship. Adapted from D. L. Moody. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Pray with me: Beloved Father, I praise You because You call me to walk with You in holiness and love. Teach me to live with my heart turned only to You.

Lord, guide me so that I may fulfill Your magnificent commandments and learn to please You in every thought, word, and action.

Oh, dear God, I thank You because You call me not only to be forgiven, but to walk with You every day. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is the path of holiness. Your commandments are the firm steps that bring me closer to Your heart. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
