“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever” (Psalm 125:1).
The promises of God do not wear out or run dry with time. What He fulfilled yesterday does not weaken what He has promised for today or tomorrow. Like perennial springs in the desert, the Lord accompanies His children with constant provision, transforming arid places into gardens and causing hope to spring up amid apparent scarcity. Each promise fulfilled is a sign of an even greater one yet to come.
To experience this faithfulness, it is necessary to walk faithfully in the majestic Law of the Lord. It teaches us to trust in His care and to move forward even when the path seems desolate. To obey is to walk securely along unknown roads, certain that God has prepared springs at every stage to sustain our journey.
So, follow the path of the Most High with confidence. Where the Lord guides, He also provides. Whoever walks in obedience will see the desert bloom and will be led to the fullness of life in Jesus, always finding new sources of blessing and renewal. Adapted from John Jowett. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.
Pray with me: Beloved Father, I praise You because Your promises never run out. In each new day I find signs of Your care and Your faithfulness.
Lord, teach me to walk in Your majestic Law, trusting that in every stretch of the way You have already prepared sources of sustenance and hope.
Oh, dear God, I thank You because You turn deserts into gardens. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is an inexhaustible source along the way. Your commandments are flowers that bloom in the desert of life. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
