“The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand” (Psalm 121:5).
One of the greatest signs that we are truly aligning ourselves with God’s timing and movement is the constant presence of calm and peace in our hearts. Circumstances may change, challenges may arise, but the one who recognizes the Lord’s presence in every moment remains steadfast. If God comes with the sunlight, we feel joy and relief. If He comes in the midst of the storm, we remember that He is Lord over all things.
When we place ourselves before the presence of the Most High, the soul finds what it desires most: a safe, quiet, and life-filled place. But this presence is not attained just any way. There is a path, and it has been revealed in the Scriptures. The only way to truly draw near to the Lord is through obedience to His holy Law. This is the path He Himself has established. And when we choose to follow it, the gates of heaven open, and we have access to the Throne of grace and mercy.
It is before this Throne that we find everything we so earnestly seek: comfort for our pain, peace for our soul, deliverance from bondage, and eternal salvation. There is the Father, waiting for us with love. And at His side is the Son, our Savior, who leads us to this sacred place when we decide to obey. There is no other way. Pray with me: Dear God, I thank You for being my constant peace, even when everything around me seems unstable. When I recognize Your presence in every moment, my heart finds rest. Thank You for teaching me that true calm does not come from the absence of problems, but from the certainty that You are Lord over all things – including every challenge I face.
My Father, today I ask You to help me live in faithfulness to the path You have revealed in the Scriptures. I know that only through obedience to Your holy Law can I truly draw near to Your presence. Open my eyes to understand the depth of this truth and strengthen my heart to walk this path with steadfastness. May I not seek shortcuts, nor try to reach You with human formulas, but choose to follow You as You have determined – with reverence, surrender, and faithfulness.
Oh, Most Holy God, I adore and praise You because, by Your mercy, You have opened the way that leads me to Your Throne of love. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is like a bridge of light that connects the weary soul to the glorious heaven. Your commandments are like a river of peace that runs within me, nourishing my faith and sustaining my spirit. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
