“O my people, trust in Him at all times; pour out your heart before Him, for God is our refuge” (Psalm 62:8).
Many trust in God when everything is clear and bright before them, but not in the dark. They trust when everything is favorable and peaceful, without opposition, persecution, or bitterness, but only a smooth path ahead. This, however, is not faith; it is walking by sight. We are called to trust in the Lord at all times, whether in the brightness of day or the darkness of night. God does not want children who cannot be tested, for it is in trials that our faith is strengthened and our trust in Him deepens.
Remember that God had a Son without sin, but none without trial. If you have decided to put God first in your life, seeking to obey His commandments, you can be sure that you will face opposition. The path of obedience always attracts resistance, but you can be certain that God will never allow you to face these trials alone. He will be by your side, sustaining and strengthening you every step of the way.

Pray with me: Dear God, help me to trust in You not only when the path is clear and peaceful, but also when everything around me seems uncertain and challenging. Teach me to live by faith and not by sight, trusting that Your hand is always by my side, even in the most difficult trials. May I see each obstacle not as a sign of abandonment, but as an opportunity to grow in trust and obedience to You.
My Father, today I ask You for courage to face the difficulties that arise on the path of faithfulness to Your commandments. May I not be discouraged by opposition or resistance, but find strength in Your constant presence. Remind me that trials are instruments of Your care, used to strengthen my faith and shape my heart according to Your will.
Oh, Most Holy God, I worship and praise You for being faithful in all circumstances. Thank You for walking with me, even in the storms, and for using every trial to reveal Your grace and Your strength. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is a trustworthy guide. Your beautiful commandments bring joy to my days. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
