“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21).
It is not difficult to discover where a person’s heart is. Just a few minutes of conversation are enough to know what truly moves them. Some get excited when talking about money, others about power or status. But when a faithful servant speaks about the Kingdom of God, their eyes shine—because heaven is their home, and the eternal promises are their true treasure. What we love reveals who we are and whom we serve.
And it is by obeying the magnificent Law of God, the same splendid commandments that Jesus and His disciples followed, that we learn to set our hearts on things above. Obedience frees us from the illusion of this world and teaches us to invest in what can never be corrupted. God reveals His plans only to the obedient, for they are the ones who live with their eyes fixed on eternal rewards and not on passing vanities.
The Father blesses and sends the obedient to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. May your heart be fully surrendered to the Lord, and may each of your choices be a step toward the treasure that is never lost—eternal life with God. Adapted from D. L. Moody. See you tomorrow, if the Lord allows.

Oh dear Lord, I thank You for teaching me where the true treasure is. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your mighty Law is the map that leads to the heavenly inheritance. Your commandments are precious pearls that enrich my soul forever. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
