“Call to me and I will answer you, and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).
When we are weighed down by the burden of sin or the darkness of the past, we may think that God will not hear us. But He always inclines His ear to those who call upon Him sincerely. The Lord does not reject those who desire to return. He hears, accepts, and answers the prayer of a surrendered heart.
In this return, we must remember that the Father sends to the Son only those who embrace obedience. He calls us to live according to the powerful Law of God and His incredible commandments—beautiful and wise, given to the prophets and confirmed by Jesus. It is through them that we know the true path of freedom and blessing.
Today is the time to choose obedience. Whoever keeps His sublime Law experiences peace, deliverance, and salvation. The Father blesses and sends the obedient to the Son for forgiveness and eternal life. Decide to walk in the light of obedience and be led into the arms of Jesus. Adapted from D. L. Moody. Pray with me: Beloved Father, I come before You recognizing that without You I cannot overcome evil. But I know that You hear the sincere cry and answer those who seek You with all their heart.
Lord, help me to value Your great Law and to keep Your extraordinary commandments. I do not want to follow the shortcuts of the world, but to walk the narrow path that leads to life.
Oh, beloved God, I thank You because You always hear those who turn to You. Your beloved Son is my eternal Prince and Savior. Your powerful Law is a light that never goes out. Your commandments are precious jewels that guide my life. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
