Jesus never said He came to take unrepentant sinners to heaven. He came to call those who recognize their sins and decide to abandon them. For God, to repent is to stop living in disobedience. Whoever knows the Lord’s commandments, given to the prophets in the Old Testament and to Jesus in the four gospels, but does not strive to keep them exactly as they were given, has not yet repented. The Father does not send conscious disobedient people to the Son. To repent is to prove to God, with actions, that we desire to please Him. Do not follow the majority, obey God’s Law while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts, that we should keep them diligently.” (Psalm 119:4)
This life is just a short period of testing and decision, a very brief interval compared to the eternity that awaits us. Here, while we breathe, each human being decides where they will go when the last day of the test arrives. There will be no appeal, no second chance, no change of course after death. It is now, while we are still alive, that we choose to obey the powerful commandments that God revealed through the prophets before the Messiah and through the Messiah Himself, or to follow the broad path of disobedience that leads to eternal death. The apostles and disciples loved the Son and obeyed all the Father’s laws. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | “They rebelled against me. They disobeyed my laws and did not keep my commandments, which give life to those who keep them.” (Ezekiel 20:21)
A common mistake is to think that speaking or singing about Christ is enough to be saved, as if God applies the Blood without looking at the person’s life. Jews or Gentiles, the Father delights only in those who seek to obey His powerful and eternal Law, because this shows faith, reverence, and a real desire for eternal life. Such a soul is received by the Father, blessed, and sent to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. Any message that separates salvation from obedience is a deception of the serpent. Jesus prepared obedient disciples as an example for all of us. They kept the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. Salvation is individual; obey while you are alive. | Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
Jesus, our Savior, was a Jew. He never befriended anyone outside the religion of His fathers and only chose Jews as apostles. He died as a Jew and, upon rising, made a point of gathering with His friends, all Jews. Do not be deceived by what is being taught to the Gentiles. Only through Israel, the people of Jesus, do we receive deliverance, forgiveness, and salvation. The Gentile who seeks salvation must follow the same laws that the Lord gave to the nation He set apart for Himself with an eternal covenant. The Father sees the faith and courage of this Gentile, despite the challenges. He pours out His love upon him, unites him with Israel, and leads him to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. This is the plan of salvation that makes sense because it is true. | The foreigner who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds firmly to my covenant, I will also bring to my holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
God punished Jonah for refusing a direct order and fleeing from the Lord’s calling. Jonah knew the order but disobeyed and almost died. The church has done exactly that. Millions of Christians know God’s powerful and unchangeable Law but flee from obedience, trusting in the teachings of their rebellious leaders. Jews or Gentiles, we only have assurance of salvation if we live as Jesus and His apostles lived, obeying the entire holy Law of God: the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. The Blood of the Lamb does not cover rebels. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “Whoever says: I know Him, but does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1 John 2:2-6)
Many Christians learned in church that “works do not save,” they repeat this phrase without understanding what it means, but they like it because they think it allows them to disobey God’s commandments and still be received in heaven with hugs and kisses. Jesus never taught this. The Messiah never said that obeying the Father would be optional; on the contrary, He lived and taught faithfulness to all the commandments revealed to the prophets who came before Him and made it clear that this has always been the way to divine approval. The idea that ”you do not need to obey” did not come from heaven, but from the serpent, whose goal since Eden has been to convince souls to disobey the Creator. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12)
At the final judgment, millions of Christians will lament in despair: “Fool, fool, fool, I was! I heard the warning that I needed to obey all the commandments to be sent to Jesus by the Father, but I preferred to believe the leaders who promised me salvation without obedience.” On that day, the deception will be revealed, and the truth, which has always been in the Scriptures, will rise as a witness against the disobedient. God has not changed His standard: the Father only sends to the Son those who truly seek to keep His laws, given to the prophets and confirmed by Jesus in the Gospels. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me; and they have obeyed your word [the Old Testament].” (John 17:6)
The soul that truly desires to be right with God the Father and with Jesus must obey all the orders that were clearly given by the Lord through His prophets in the Old Testament and by His Son in the four Gospels. Why does something so obvious seem difficult for millions of people in churches to understand? The sad truth is that many of them do not want to understand, because they know that if they are faithful to God, they will have to give up many pleasures of this world that they still love. Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. Do not follow the majority because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are alive. | “The Lord guides with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his requirements.” (Psalm 25:10)
The Bible is clear in stating that sin is the transgression of the Law. That is why God instituted the sacrificial system: because we all sin. Some fall more often than others, but no one escapes, and this is proven even by the great names of Scripture. Those who seek to be faithful to God’s commandments, but still stumble, are sent to the Lamb of God for the forgiveness of sins. However, those who do not seek to obey the Law and also fall do not benefit from the Blood of the Lamb, for they are rebels: they know the Law, but do not even make an effort to obey it. The Father only sends to the Son those who honor Him through obedience. If God does not consider people’s merit to take them to heaven, what is His criterion? On whom is the blood of Christ applied, if not on the souls who sacrificed the pleasures of the world to follow Him? Was this not what Jesus commanded us? That we should lose our life in this world to find it in heaven? The doctrine of “unmerited favor” does not have a drop of support in the words of Jesus and, therefore, is false, even if it is ancient and popular. This heresy comes from men inspired by the serpent, with the intent to convince the Gentiles to disobey the laws of God given to His prophets in the Old Testament and to Jesus.
