Without faith, it is impossible to please God. This means that, with faith, we please Him, but what kind of faith pleases the Lord? Only faith in the promises He reserves for His obedient children pleases the Most High. Both in the Old Testament by the prophets and in the four Gospels by Jesus, the Lord taught that obedience to His powerful commandments is the key to blessing and salvation. When the soul proves to the Creator that it loves Him, by obeying all His holy and eternal Law, the Father pours out His love upon it and sends it to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. Many rely on the behavior of the church after the ascension of Christ to justify their own rebellion, as if the negligence of ordinary men had authority to cancel eternal commandments, such as the Sabbath, circumcision, the beard, the tzitzits, and so many others. But this never came from God. The Most High gave us a perfect standard: Jesus, who obeyed everything; and gave us men trained by Him: the apostles and disciples, who also obeyed everything. Whoever strayed after that only confirmed the power of the serpent to deceive, not a new gospel. Salvation is individual. Many leaders justify their own rebellion by saying that, after the ascension of Christ, the early church abandoned the Lord’s laws, and conclude that we should do the same. What a deadly illusion! The Most High never commanded us to copy anyone’s mistake. Our standard is not men who strayed, but the Messiah who lived in perfect faithfulness. The apostles and disciples, taught directly by Him every day, followed every commandment revealed by the prophets. If someone later strayed from the Law, they are not an example for us. Woe to those false teachers who spread the same teaching of disobedience as the serpent in Eden. Salvation is individual. Jesus did not leave us defenseless against false leaders and false doctrines that would arise after Him. When we hear a message that does not align with the truth, the Holy Spirit calls us back to what the Son truly lived and taught. In none of the four gospels did Jesus preach the heresy of “unmerited favor,” which so many churches preach. What exists in the gospels is the example of Jesus and the apostles on how Jews and gentiles should live. All kept every commandment of God: the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. The claim that it is impossible to obey God’s Law, and that, therefore, it must have been abolished, is a lie that is part of the devil’s plan against the gentiles, begun right after Jesus returned to the Father. God never demands something we cannot give Him. Throughout history, millions of Jews and gentiles have decided to live in faithfulness to the Lord’s commandments revealed in the Old Testament, and it was precisely for this reason that God sent them to the Lamb for the forgiveness of their sins. Jew or gentile, only those who sincerely seek to obey the entire powerful Law of God will be saved. Salvation is individual. The gentile who seeks God’s blessings but refuses to obey His Law revealed in the Old Testament is just wasting time. God never promised prosperity, peace, or protection to those who live in rebellion against His commands. Blessings are for those who truly love Him, and to love God is to obey His commandments. The Father and the Son are not at war with each other: both require faithfulness. Neither of them promised protection to the disobedient, but rather to those who keep Their laws with sincerity and perseverance, just as the disciples and apostles did. Salvation is individual. The Christian can be deceived in many ways: by the devil, by men, and even by his own mind. Spiritual confusion is inevitable for those who do not have a firm foundation. The only way to remain free from any deception is to obey, to the letter, each of God’s commandments revealed in the Old Testament and in the four Gospels. This is the safe route that never changes. This is how the prophets, apostles, disciples, and Jesus Himself lived: all in perfect faithfulness to the Father’s Law. Whoever walks this same path will not be deceived. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “Ah! My people! Those who guide you mislead you and destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)
If you think that only “the worst of the worst” will be in hell, think again. In hell will be everyone who did not please the Father and, therefore, was not sent to the Son to be saved, regardless of religious appearance, beautiful words, or church involvement. The Father does not judge speeches, emotions, or declared intentions; He observes faithfulness. And we only please the Father when we sincerely seek to be faithful to each of His wonderful commandments, exactly as they were revealed. Whoever ignores the Law may even feel secure for a while, but that security is illusory. Salvation is individual. Jesus never preached an easy gospel, and He did not preach it because the gospel that truly saves requires total obedience to all the commandments of the Father and the Son, without exceptions, adaptations, or shortcuts. What is preached today in churches is a convenient, light, and non-committal gospel, but also powerless to save. The blood of the Lamb does not cover the rebellious, but rather those who sincerely and diligently seek to obey all of God’s laws. The apostles and disciples who walked daily with Christ lived this way: in faithfulness, reverence, and obedience. Salvation is individual. In the days of Jesus, there were followers of various religions in Jerusalem, but Jesus never showed interest in them, for the Messiah came only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. None of this has changed today. In none of the gospels did Jesus imply that He would create a new religion for the gentiles, separate from the religion of His ancestors. The gentile who seeks salvation in Jesus must follow the same laws that the Lord gave to the nation He set apart for Himself with an eternal covenant. The Father sees the faith and courage of this gentile, despite the challenges. He pours out His love upon him, unites him to Israel, and leads him to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. This is the plan of salvation that makes sense because it is true. | “Jesus sent out the Twelve with the following instructions: Do not go among the gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans; go rather to the lost sheep of the people of Israel.” (Matthew 10:5–6)
