It is astonishing to hear some leaders say that the early church stopped obeying God’s laws after Jesus ascended to the Father and that, therefore, we should also stop obeying. Since when did the Creator command us to imitate the disobedient? Where in the Scriptures does the Lord command us to follow men who ignore His Law? Jesus obeyed everything, and the apostles and disciples who learned directly from Him obeyed everything. Human rebellion is not a model; the Messiah is the model. At the final judgment there will be no forgiveness for these false teachers, nor for those who accepted their teachings against the powerful Law of the Most High. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | “Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” (2 John 9)
Some believe that Jesus founded a new religion, different from the one in which He was born and lived. But this is false! Jesus never separated Himself from the faith of His family and His people. He was born, lived, and died as a Jew faithful to the Law of the Father. When reading the four gospels, it is clear that Jesus never sought to form a new community outside the religion of Israel, His focus was to restore obedience within it. The plan of salvation that is taught to gentiles today did not come from Jesus, but from men who arose years after His ascension, and therefore it is false. We must live as the apostles and disciples lived: faithfully obeying all the commandments of God. Obey while you are alive. | The gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds firmly to my covenant, I will also bring to my holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
The devil is a master at using deceptive words that seem good and holy, but lead to destruction. As soon as Jesus returned to the Father, the serpent convinced the gentiles that Christ had founded a religion for them, with new doctrines, traditions, and, as expected, without the laws of Israel. The truth is that Jesus never said He came to found a new religion. Any gentile can join Israel and be blessed by God, as long as he follows the same laws that the Lord gave to Israel. The Father sees the faith and courage of this gentile, despite the difficulties. He pours out His love on him, unites him to Israel, and leads him to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. This is the plan of salvation that makes sense, because it is true. | The gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds firmly to my covenant, I will also bring to my holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
The only possible way to show God that you love Him above all things is by seeking to obey each of His powerful commandments, without excluding any. Many repeat the phrase “to love God above all things” as if it were just a beautiful feeling, but ignore that this love is proven exclusively through obedience. Whoever claims to love the Most High but rejects the laws that He revealed through the prophets before the Messiah and by the Messiah Himself is only deceiving themselves. The Father does not receive words; He receives faithfulness. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority. Obey while you are still alive. | Not everyone who says to me: Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
It is impossible to have a true understanding of Jesus’ teachings without being in obedience to God’s laws, just as the apostles and disciples were when He taught. Trying to learn something from the teachings of the Son while living in declared disobedience to the laws of the Father is illusory. There is no real spiritual progress in disobedience. Anyone who truly wants to grow in knowledge and intimacy with the Father and the Son, and break out of stagnation, will have to distance themselves from the majority and begin to obey all of God’s laws, given to the prophets in the Old Testament, just as Jesus’ apostles did. Access to the Throne will be unlocked, and knowledge, blessings, and salvation will flow. | “The Lord guides with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his requirements.” (Psalm 25:10)
When Jesus says that whoever believes in Him will be saved, He is referring to believing that He is the one sent by the Father and believing in everything He taught, both in words and by example. Jesus’ focus was always His Father. His food was to do the will of the Father and complete His work. His family were those who obeyed the Father. The gentile who claims to believe in Jesus but consciously disobeys the laws of Jesus’ Father is not part of His family. He is a stranger to Jesus, even if he insists he is a disciple. Any gentile can become part of the people chosen by God and join the family of Jesus, as long as he follows the same laws that the Lord gave to Israel. | The gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds firmly to my covenant, I will also bring to my holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
Many imagine that accepting the existence of God, attending a church, or singing songs about Jesus already guarantees blessings and salvation, but this is an illusion. The Father never promised eternal life to those who only believe superficially; He promised everything to those who love Him through obedience, faithfully following every commandment revealed to the prophets who came before the Messiah and by the Messiah Himself in the four Gospels. Singing, getting emotional, or participating in services does not replace the practical faithfulness that God has required since Eden. At the final judgment, there will be no privileges based on religious appearances, but only the eternal truth: only those who honored the Law of the Most High will be sent to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12)
Millions of gentiles claim to follow Jesus, but if asked, almost none of them identify as part of Israel, but rather as part of another religion. The problem is that, in no gospel, did Jesus call gentiles to found a new religion, separate from the religion of His ancestors. The idea of a religion outside of Israel is of human origin, started right after Jesus returned to the Father. The gentile who wishes to be saved must follow the same laws that the Father gave to the chosen nation for His honor and glory. These are the laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. When we obey, the Father sees our faith and courage, unites us to Israel, and leads us to Jesus. This plan of salvation makes sense because it is the true one. | The gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds firmly to my covenant, I will also bring to my holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
Solomon knew God’s Law and knew that the king should not worship other gods, but he ignored the Lord and reaped the ruin of his own kingdom. Millions of Christians do the same: they have a Bible at home, they know there are laws given by God, they know what they are, and yet they prefer to follow their rebellious leaders instead of obeying the Most High. Just like Solomon, their punishment at the Final Judgment is certain. Do not follow leaders; follow Jesus, who trained His apostles to strictly obey the Law. All of them obeyed the Sabbath, circumcision, the forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. The Blood of the Lamb does not cover rebels; obey while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.” (Psalm 119:4)
One of the most offensive phrases that defenders of the false doctrine of “unmerited favor” like to use is that a person can obey God’s commandments, as long as it is not for salvation. As if obeying His Law were a little gift they are offering to God. Something extra, a bonus. They do not realize that God is a consuming fire and that His wrath will fall upon all those who make light of His Law. Jesus never taught this blasphemy nor authorized anyone, inside or outside the Bible, to teach it. Salvation is individual. No gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. | “Ah! My people! Those who guide you mislead you and destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)
