The sacred expression “Thus says the Lord!” appears only in the Old Testament and indicates a direct pronouncement from God. When a prophet used these words, there was silence to hear what God Himself had to say. In the epistles, this expression was never used, for the apostles only wrote letters containing guidance, not decrees from God. They did not receive the same level of revelation as the prophets. This shows that God did not change His laws nor institute a new plan of salvation through the apostles, as many defenders of the doctrine of ”unmerited favor” believe. Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. | The Gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
The expression “unmerited favor” does not exist in Scripture; it is a theological jargon invented after the ascension of Jesus, with the intention of separating the Gentiles from Israel and creating a new religion, with new doctrines and traditions, as well as excluding the need to obey God’s laws for salvation. This concept has no support in the Old Testament nor in the words of Jesus in the Gospels. To claim that human beings cannot contribute to their salvation encourages sin and suggests that God seeks to save the disobedient, which is why many Gentiles cling to this false doctrine. What Jesus really taught is that it is the Father who sends us to the Son, and the Father only sends those who follow the laws given to the nation He set apart for Himself with a perpetual covenant. | The Gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
The Bible says that sin is the transgression of the Law , but which Law? Only the laws that the Gentiles accept? Of course not. It refers to all the laws given to the nation that God set apart for Himself with a perpetual covenant. The covenant is eternal, and the laws are part of it. Jesus never exempted the Gentiles from obeying any of these commandments. All the apostles and disciples were faithful to the Father’s Law and kept it without exceptions. No one, inside or outside the Bible, was authorized to alter what God established. Only the Gentiles who seek to obey the holy Law of the Father are sent to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority , obey while you are alive. | “Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12)
Jesus made it clear that He spoke nothing of Himself, but only what the Father told Him to say. In none of the Gospels did Jesus tell us that obeying the commandments makes no difference for people’s salvation, as the adherents of the doctrine of “unmerited favor” teach. The supporters of this false doctrine like it because, even though it is false, it deceives them with the idea that they can, indeed, continue in declared disobedience to God’s laws and still benefit from the blood of Christ. This will not happen! Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are alive. | “Blessed are those who hear the word of God [Old Testament] and obey it.” (Luke 11:28)
Many in the churches repeat the phrase: “If the Law could save, Jesus would not have needed to come,” but they do not know what they are saying. Neither the prophets who came before the Messiah nor the Messiah Himself taught that the Law leads anyone to heaven; what they always taught is that obedience to the Law leads the sinner to the Lamb, and without the blood of the Lamb there is no forgiveness of sins. From the beginning it was so: in ancient Israel, only those who sought to obey the commandments could approach the sacrifice and be purified; today, only those who seek to obey the same Law are sent by the Father to the true Lamb of God, Jesus. Nothing has changed , only the obedient are received. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
There is no true Christian who claims to be saved by the Law. Everyone who follows Christ knows that salvation is in the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. However, many leaders have created an imaginary Christian to support the lie that those who obey God’s Law reject the cross. This is a distortion that Jesus Himself never taught. All the apostles and disciples were faithful to the Father’s laws revealed in the Old Testament and, at the same time, firmly believed that Jesus was the Messiah sent by Him. So should we be: obedient to the Father’s eternal laws and faithful to the Son whom He sent to save us. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority , obey while you are alive. | “For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the law until everything is accomplished.” (Matthew 5:18)
Nowhere in the Gospels did Jesus say that He came into the world so that we could ignore His Father’s laws and still achieve salvation. In fact, the mission of Christ was already typified in the sacrificial system long before His coming. Those who sought to obey the Law would correctly go to the temple when they sinned, while those who ignored the Law and tried to compensate with sacrifices were rebuked by the Lord, as happened with King Saul. With Christ, the situation is the same. Seeking the benefits of the cross without obeying the laws that God delivered to the prophets and to Jesus is to seek in vain. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.” (Psalm 119:4)
The devil is the father of lies and his deceptions have become so accepted in the churches that most no longer notice them. Only souls who strive to faithfully obey God can see them. Obedience to the mighty Law of the Lord, revealed in the Old Testament and by Jesus in the four Gospels, is what protects us from deception. Without this divine defense, we continue as docile prisoners in a world of illusions, believing we are right while moving away from the truth. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority , obey while you are alive. | “Oh, my people! Those who guide you mislead you and destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)
The situation of the Gentiles is much more serious than the leaders teach. Jesus’ focus was never on outsiders, but on those who belong to His people: Israel. His contact with the Gentiles was minimal, and to deny this is to reject the facts clearly described in the gospels. The common teaching in churches suggests that God is eager to save the Gentiles, to the point of not even requiring them to obey His laws revealed by His prophets of the Old Testament. This teaching is totally false, and Jesus never taught such a thing. What Jesus taught is that it is the Father who sends us to the Son. And the Father only sends those who follow the same laws given to the nation He set apart for Himself with a perpetual covenant. God does not send declared disobedient ones to His Son. | “I have revealed your name to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me; and they have obeyed your word [the Old Testament].” (John 17:6)
Heresy is not rejecting false teachings of church leaders, but rather accepting and defending what Jesus never taught in the four gospels. The false doctrine of “unmerited favor,” which arose years after Jesus returned to the Father, is one of the greatest heresies fabricated by the serpent. People love this lie because it creates the illusion that, even while disobeying the mighty and eternal Law of God, they will be welcomed into heaven. This will never happen, because Jesus left a standard to be followed by both Jews and Gentiles. All the apostles and disciples obeyed the commandment of the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. Do not follow the majority; obey while you are alive. | “Anyone who goes too far and does not remain in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever remains in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” (2 John 9)
