One of the most offensive phrases that defenders of the false doctrine of “unmerited favor” like to use is that a person can obey God’s commandments, as long as it is not for salvation. As if obeying His Law were a little gift they are offering to God. Something extra, a bonus. They do not realize that God is a consuming fire and that His wrath will fall on all those who make light of His Law. Jesus never taught this blasphemy nor authorized anyone, inside or outside the Bible, to teach it. Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus and His apostles themselves followed. Do not follow the majority because they are many. | “Ah, My people! Your guides lead you astray and destroy the paths you walk.” Isaiah 3:12
There has never been a time in human history when God did not allow Gentiles to have their sins forgiven and be saved when they died. Nor has there been a change in the process God established to save Gentiles. The point is: God did not authorize the creation of a plan of salvation for Gentiles apart from Israel. We, Gentiles, are saved by joining Israel, the nation God set apart for Himself. By following the same laws given to His people, the Father sees our seriousness and leads us to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. This was true in the Old Testament, in the days of Jesus, and remains true today. This plan of salvation makes sense because it is the true one. | The Gentile who joins the Lord to serve Him, thus being His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring them to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
Whoever knows God’s laws but refuses to obey them should not even mention the word “sanctification”. The true foundation for those who want to be sanctified is obedience to the holy and eternal laws of God. Only when this foundation is present can the individual seek intimacy with God through sanctification. Unfortunately, the church has ignored the laws that God gave through the prophets and by Jesus for so long that spiritual blindness has dominated leaders and followers. Do you want to be sanctified? Do you want to be intimate with God? Receive His blessings and be led to Jesus for salvation? Start with the basics: obey God’s laws! | Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked… But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. Psalms 1:1-2
God has always made it clear that the promise made to Abraham, of blessings and salvation, would extend to other peoples. Jesus confirmed this promise by sending His apostles into the world to teach everything they had learned from Him. It was never said, neither in the Old Testament nor in the words of Jesus in the Gospels, that the call of the Gentiles would be separate from Israel, the nation chosen by God with an everlasting covenant. Jesus never suggested that He was founding a new religion for Gentiles, with new doctrines, traditions, and without the holy laws that He and His followers always obeyed. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | The Gentile who joins the Lord to serve Him, thus being His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring them to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
In various passages of Scripture, God praises His faithful children. He was so pleased with the fidelity of some that He did not wait for the final judgment and took them to heaven, as He did with Enoch, Moses, and Elijah. If the doctrine of “unmerited favor” were true, the fidelity of these people would be irrelevant, as their actions would have no influence. But the truth is that God watches souls, and when He finds one after His own heart, He decides that they deserve all good things. In addition to blessings and protection, He sends them to His Son for forgiveness and salvation. What God never does is send disobedient souls to Jesus. | Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked… But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. Psalms 1:1-2
Jesus’ focus was always the Father. Everything He did and taught here on earth had the purpose of pleasing the Father. Everything revolved around the Father: “The Father sent Me”, ”The Father commanded Me”, ”I and the Father…”, ”Our Father who art…”, ”No one comes to the Father…”, ”In My Father’s house…”, ”I will return to the Father”. To teach that Jesus died so that Gentiles can disobey the holy laws of His Father is blasphemy. For centuries, many churches have been lying to Gentiles, saying that those who obey the Father’s Law are rejecting the Son and will be condemned. Jesus never taught this nor authorized anyone, inside or outside the Bible, to teach it. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel. Laws that Jesus and His apostles themselves followed. | “Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
There is a completely guaranteed way to be blessed in this life and have our place reserved in heaven: to live exactly as Jesus’ apostles lived when they were with Him. They fulfilled the two requirements of God for blessings and salvation: to obey His laws given to the Old Testament prophets and to recognize Jesus as the Messiah of Israel. Any Gentile who lives in the same way will be treated by God as they were. But whoever chooses to follow the false teaching that they do not need to obey God’s laws will not have access to Jesus. The Father does not send declared disobedients to the Son. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | “Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
When God made the covenant with Abraham, He already knew that the people would be unfaithful many times and that few would accept Jesus as the promised Messiah. Nevertheless, the Lord made it clear that the covenant was perpetual and sealed it with the physical sign of circumcision. Nowhere in the Old Testament or in the words of Jesus in the Gospels is it said that Gentiles would have access to the Messiah without going through Israel. This lie of the serpent is taught in practically all churches and will be the cause of the perdition of millions of souls. Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel. Laws that Jesus and His apostles themselves followed. Do not follow the majority because they are many. Obey while you are alive. | “As the laws of the sun, the moon, and the stars are unchangeable, so also the descendants of Israel will never cease to be a nation before God forever.” Jeremiah 31:35-37
There is nothing more important for a human being than to follow each of God’s laws exactly as they were given, without changing even a comma. When a person adjusts or ignores a commandment based on what they have read or heard, whether inside or outside the Bible, they have already fallen into the same trap of the serpent that deceived Eve. God is testing the Gentiles today, just as He tested the Jews in the past, to see if we obey or not the holy and eternal Law He gave to the nation He set apart for Himself with an everlasting covenant, sealed by circumcision. The Father does not bless or send rebels to the Son. We have reached the end. Obey while you are alive! | “You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.” Psalms 119:4
Most in the church do not realize the seriousness of the fact that, among all the peoples God created, He chose Israel to be the means through which the plan of salvation would be fulfilled. Israel is the only nation that has the Lord as its eternal protector. Despite its rebellion, the covenant with Abraham’s descendants is irrevocable. The idea that Jesus founded a religion for Gentiles, separate from Israel, is one of the serpent’s most successful lies. The true plan of salvation, which is in full agreement with what God revealed through the Old Testament prophets and by Jesus in the Gospels, is simple and straightforward: seek to be faithful to the Father’s laws, and He will unite you with Israel and send you to the Son for the forgiveness of sins. | And God said to Abraham: You shall be a blessing. And I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3
