The Israel of God consists of Jews and gentiles. The Jews are descendants of Abraham, while the gentiles come from other nations. When God made the covenant of faithfulness with Abraham and sealed it with the physical sign of circumcision, He ordered that everyone in his house, including the gentiles, be circumcised to be included in the perpetual covenant. Likewise, when giving the laws at Sinai, God made it clear that the obligations were the same for both Jews and gentiles. Salvation is in believing and obeying: believing that Jesus came from the Father and obeying the laws that the Father gave to Israel, laws that Jesus Himself, His apostles, and disciples obeyed. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. | “The assembly shall have the same laws, which will apply both to you and to the gentile who lives with you; this is a perpetual decree.” (Numbers 15:15)
When God gave His laws to Israel, He was clear in saying that they should be obeyed exactly as they were given, applying both to Jews and to gentiles who were part of the people set apart by the eternal covenant with Abraham. This is how gentiles obtain forgiveness for their sins and salvation through Jesus, the Messiah of Israel. This original plan of salvation, created by God Himself, is the only one in existence and will remain until the end of this world. The plan of salvation taught by the churches arose soon after Jesus returned to the Father, being a creation of men inspired by the serpent, with the aim of leading gentiles away from the truth that frees and saves. | “The assembly shall have the same laws, which will apply both to you and to the gentile who lives with you; this is a perpetual decree.” (Numbers 15:15)
By saying that He did not come to abolish but to fulfill the Father’s Law, Jesus did not say that He would fulfill it in place of the gentiles, as many leaders teach to justify disobedience , He fulfilled it as the perfect example to be followed. Christ strictly obeyed every command of the Lord, showing that even the Messiah submits to the Father’s laws, exalting each commandment as holy, eternal, and indispensable. If the very Son of God, without any sin, lived in absolute faithfulness to the Law, how much more do we, sinful gentiles, need to follow it to please the Creator and be sent to the Son for salvation. When David tried to bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, God struck Uzzah dead for ignoring the commandment not to touch it. The Lord does not accept those who know but do not obey. In many churches, the people know very well all the commandments of God, but only obey those they want to obey and ignore the others. Jews or gentiles, we can only be sure of salvation if we live as Jesus and His apostles lived, obeying the whole powerful and eternal Law of God: the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. The Blood of the Lamb does not cover rebels. Do not follow the majority; obey while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts, that we should keep them diligently.” (Psalm 119:4)
Many imagine that, before Jesus, the gentiles lived without hope of salvation; this is ignorance of the Scriptures. The sacrifice of the Lamb has always reached the gentile who surrendered to the true God and aligned himself with the people of the covenant, keeping the powerful Law that the Lord has always required. The Father observes his faith, welcomes the soul, and sends it to the Son, because no one comes to the Messiah without being sent, whether Jew or gentile. On the other hand, the Father never sends to the Son the person who rejects clear laws, such as the Sabbath, unclean meats, circumcision, the beard, the use of tzitzits, and the other commandments that the apostles and disciples never abandoned. Do not follow the majority; obey while you are alive. | The gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who remains firm in my covenant, I will also bring to my holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
One of the greatest benefits of following God’s laws is the spiritual barrier that the Lord places around those who obey Him. As long as the person remains on the path of obedience to all the laws given to the prophets and to Jesus, he will be under divine protection, far from the serpent’s deceptions. On the other hand, whoever refuses to obey, for whatever reason, does not have this protection, and the devil can freely enter his life. God can still protect him as Creator, but not as Father. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are alive. | “If only they always had in their hearts this desire to fear me and to obey all my commandments. Then all would go well with them and with their descendants forever!” (Deuteronomy 5:29)
We gentiles need humility and gratitude if we want to rise with Jesus. Over the centuries, the serpent has managed to instill great pride in the churches, creating the false belief that Christ founded a special religion for the gentiles, with its own doctrines, traditions, and without the laws of Israel. However, none of this finds support in the four Gospels. The truth is that God chose Israel so that, through this people, all nations could have access to the Lamb. God gives us the chance to join the chosen people, but no one is accepted without obeying the commandments that were given to Abraham and his descendants. The phrase “if it were by the Law, Jesus would not have needed to come” sounds nice, but it is empty and unbiblical. It was never said that the Law saves; what God revealed from the beginning is that obedience to the Law leads the sinner to the sacrifice that purifies. In Israel, only the obedient had access to the blood of the lamb that covered sins; today, only the obedient have access to the blood of the Messiah that removes sins. The Father sends to the Son those who honor His Law, not those who despise it. The apostles and disciples believed in Jesus and obeyed the entire Law of the Father. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
It is not possible to consider oneself a servant of God and treat His commandments as if they were optional, but this is how millions of Christians live. The Sabbath is set aside; forbidden meats, tzitzits, circumcision, and the beard , all of this is ridiculed. All these laws were faithfully obeyed by the apostles, the disciples, and Jesus Himself. And why are they not alarmed? Because they live surrounded by people who do the same, as if a crowd could turn disobedience into virtue. But the Lord is not impressed by numbers; He honors those who fear Him and obey the commandments given by the prophets and by the Messiah. Do not trade the truth for the approval of men. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are alive. | “He who says: I know Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1 John 2:4)
Many were taught to believe that, with the coming of the Messiah, God would have inaugurated a “new phase” of the plan of salvation, in which seeking to obey the Law was no longer required. This narrative does not come from the Lord. Jesus did not found a new religion for gentiles; He came for His people and remained faithful to the Father’s laws, calling everyone to follow the same path. No prophet, not even Jesus Himself, prophesied a man, inside or outside the Bible, in charge of updating the plan of salvation. Since Eden, the Blood of the Lamb is applied to the soul that seeks to follow the whole Law of God, whether Jew or gentile. Salvation is individual.
