Jesus made it clear that He spoke nothing of Himself, but only what the Father told Him to say. In none of the Gospels did Jesus tell us that obeying the commandments makes no difference for people’s salvation, as the adherents of the doctrine of “unmerited favor” teach. The supporters of this false doctrine like it because, even though it is false, it deceives them with the idea that they can, indeed, continue in declared disobedience to God’s laws and still benefit from the blood of Christ. This will not happen! Salvation is individual. No Gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are alive. | “Blessed are those who hear the word of God [Old Testament] and obey it.” (Luke 11:28)
