Many in the churches repeat the phrase: “If the Law could save, Jesus would not have needed to come,” but they do not know what they are saying. Neither the prophets who came before the Messiah nor the Messiah Himself taught that the Law leads anyone to heaven; what they always taught is that obedience to the Law leads the sinner to the Lamb, and without the blood of the Lamb there is no forgiveness of sins. From the beginning it was so: in ancient Israel, only those who sought to obey the commandments could approach the sacrifice and be purified; today, only those who seek to obey the same Law are sent by the Father to the true Lamb of God, Jesus. Nothing has changed , only the obedient are received. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
