The greatest spiritual tragedy of our time is that Gentiles have learned to call “unmerited favor” what God calls rebellion. Many believe they can ignore the commandments revealed in the Old Testament and still inherit eternal life, as if the Father had changed His standard after the ascension of Christ. But Jesus never taught that disobedience would be accepted. He lived and preached total faithfulness to the Father’s Law, and the apostles followed the same path. The Father only sends to the Son those who please Him through sincere and persevering obedience. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority , obey while you are alive. | “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God [Old Testament] and do it.” (Luke 8:21)
