One of the devil’s most destructive lies is that Jesus’ words about obeying the Father’s Law apply only to the Jews. Millions of gentiles have accepted this deception and rejected the commandments of God given in the Old Testament, believing they could be saved without obeying. But Jesus Himself said that salvation comes from the Jews , because it comes from the laws and promises that God made to His people. The gentile who wishes to be saved must join this same people by obeying the same laws. The Father sees his faith and courage, unites him to Israel, and sends him to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority , obey while you are alive. | “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God [Old Testament] and do it.” (Luke 8:21)
