God rescues and protects daily those who prove they love Him by obeying His commandments. We often weaken, worry, doubt, and stumble. The Lord sees that we are needy and flawed, but He never abandons His faithful children. In a short time, we see His mighty hand lift us up and encourage us to move forward. Many in churches desire this kind of relationship with God, but cannot achieve it because they were taught by leaders that it is not necessary to obey the Most High’s laws to please Him. Do not accept this lie of the serpent. The apostles and disciples of Jesus obeyed all the commandments of God revealed in the Old Testament. | “If only they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments. Then it would go well with them and with their descendants forever!” (Deuteronomy 5:29)
