In churches, many are surprised by the disobedience of Israel and its kings and by the severe punishments they received from God throughout their history. However, they read these passages as if from the outside, forgetting that they claim to worship the same God as Israel. False doctrines have led them to believe that, because Jesus came into the world, the God who once required faithfulness to His commandments no longer requires it. The sad reality, however, is that these doctrines have no foundation whatsoever in the words of Jesus in the four Gospels. No gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. Do not follow the majority because they are many. | “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.” (Psalm 119:4)
