Many in the church like the idea of having an intimate relationship with God, hearing His voice clearly, being guided by Him, receiving His blessings, and, in the end, ascending with Jesus. These are great desires, but they believe they can achieve all this without obeying the laws that God gave for His people to follow. Unfortunately, things do not work that way. Unless someone seeks to faithfully follow all the Lord’s laws in the Old Testament, God does not send him to the Son, for He does not consider him part of His people. All the apostles and disciples of Jesus were faithful to God’s laws, and we Gentiles are neither superior nor inferior to them. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. Obey God’s Law! | “The Lord guides with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.” (Psalm 25:10)
