Nowhere in the Old Testament are we told that God gave us His Law with no margin for error, or that any deviation, no matter how small, would be unforgivable. We can see this clearly by observing that none of the great biblical characters was perfect, and God did not abandon them for their failures. The idea that obeying the Law requires perfection is a lie of the serpent, created right after the ascension of Christ, to divert gentiles from obedience to God. Jesus, the Lamb of God, was sacrificed to forgive those who fail but sincerely seek to follow the laws given by the prophets. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are alive. | Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked… Instead, his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. Psalm 1:1-2
