To say you have a relationship with Jesus but consciously ignore the wonderful commandments of Jesus’ Father is to live a dangerous illusion. The true relationship with the Son begins when the Father recognizes us as obedient to His will. Jesus does not receive the rebellious, but those whom the Father sends, and the Father will never deliver to the Son a soul that despises His laws given to the prophets in the Old Testament. The love of the Son is reserved for those who love the Father in actions, not just in words. Obedience is the link that unites the Father and the Son to those who desire salvation. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
