If you wait to feel like it or to find the perfect moment to obey the Lord’s commandments, you will never do it. Obeying God almost always goes against our desires, plans, and comforts, for it requires sacrifice, renunciation, and often causes opposition from the church and family. God is pleased with those who obey despite fears and obstacles. It is when we place obedience above feelings that we show who will truly rule our life: ourselves or the Creator. And upon seeing this sincere obedience, the Father is pleased, pours out His blessings, unites us to Israel, and sends us to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
