When David tried to bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, God struck Uzzah dead for ignoring the commandment not to touch it. The Lord does not accept those who know but do not obey. In many churches, the people know very well all the commandments of God, but only obey those they want to obey and ignore the others. Jews or gentiles, we can only be sure of salvation if we live as Jesus and His apostles lived, obeying the whole powerful and eternal Law of God: the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. The Blood of the Lamb does not cover rebels. Do not follow the majority; obey while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts, that we should keep them diligently.” (Psalm 119:4)
