In the years that Jesus walked among human beings, He taught the same faith and the same divine principles that have existed since creation. Christ rebuked the Pharisees because they were teaching human traditions instead of the powerful and eternal Law of God. In none of the four gospels did the Savior say that gentiles would have a plan of salvation that did not require obedience to the Lord’s commandments. Jesus trained the apostles to show the world how Jews and gentiles should live. They obeyed the whole Law: Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, tzitzits, beard, and other statutes of the Lord. Salvation is individual; obey while you are alive. | The gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who remains firm in my covenant, I will also bring to my holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
