God’s formula for deciding whom He sends to Jesus for salvation is a mystery that not even the angels know. But one thing the Lord has revealed to us clearly: He is pleased with those who obey Him. The only way to be included among those whom the Father sends to the Son is to faithfully obey each of His powerful commandments , those given to us by the prophets in the Old Testament and by the Messiah Himself in the four Gospels. No commandment, however small, can be ignored, altered, or softened. This is true faith, the one that moves the Father’s heart and opens the way to salvation. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority , obey while you are alive. | “I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me; and they have obeyed your word [the Old Testament].” (John 17:6)
