All the promises of Jesus in the gospels were directed to the chosen people , those who already obeyed the laws that God gave to the prophets in the Old Testament. Jesus never promised anything to the disobedient. No gentile will be accepted as part of God’s people if he rejects any of the Lord’s commandments, no matter how much leaders try to convince him otherwise. The Father does not change, His laws do not change, and the path to eternal life remains the same: to faithfully obey everything He has commanded. The Father sees obedience, joins the faithful to Israel, and sends him to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. Do not follow the majority , obey while you are alive. | “Blessed are those who hear the word of God [Old Testament] and obey it.” (Luke 11:28)
