Sin is an incurable, terminal disease. The Christian is not cured of sin; in Christ, he is put to death and resurrected to a new life. This is the process that God established for every human being who sincerely seeks to obey His powerful Law revealed by the prophets in the Old Testament. In ancient Israel, the obedient would go to the temple to offer the sacrifice of an animal as a substitute for their sins. Today, the obedient are sent by the Father to the true Lamb of God, for an eternal and perfect sacrifice. Then and now, nothing has changed: only those who strive to be faithful to all the Lord’s commandments can be purified by the Blood. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
