The soul that desires to please God and ascend with Jesus must have this phrase as a principle of life: “I may not understand everything in the Scriptures, but I know that my Creator gave me laws to obey, and with all my strength, I will seek to follow them faithfully. May God do with me as He wills, but His laws I will obey.” This was the spirit of Job, who said: ”Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” God never abandons this kind of person; He gently leads them to still waters and sends them to the Son for forgiveness and salvation. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are alive. | “You have laid down your precepts, that we should fully obey them.” (Psalm 119:4)
