The plan of salvation taught in most churches says that the Messiah came first for the Jews, but since they rejected Him, He then created a new religion for the gentiles, a “easier” religion, in which it would not be necessary to obey the commandments that God gave to the prophets in the Old Testament. This idea did not come from Jesus. The Savior never abolished the Law nor created a new path for the gentiles. This doctrine arose years after His ascension, invented by men and inspired by the serpent to lead millions away from the truth. Jews or gentiles, the Father only sends to the Son those who sincerely seek to obey the entire Law of the Lord. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “And this is the will of Him who sent me: That I should lose none of all those He has given me, but raise them up at the last day.” John 6:39
The majority in the church do not realize the seriousness of the fact that, among all the peoples God created, He chose Israel to be the means by which the plan of salvation would be fulfilled. Israel is the only nation that has the Lord as its eternal protector. Despite its rebellion, the covenant with the descendants of Abraham is irrevocable. The idea that Jesus founded a religion for the gentiles, separate from Israel, is one of the serpent’s most successful lies. The true plan of salvation, which is in total agreement with what God revealed through the prophets of the Old Testament and by Jesus in the Gospels, is simple and direct: seek to be faithful to the Father’s laws, and He will unite you to Israel and send you to the Son for the forgiveness of sins. | And God said to Abraham: You shall be a blessing. And I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. (Genesis 12:2-3)
No one is saved by keeping commandments as if buying eternal life. It has never been that way. Salvation exists because the Lamb paid the price with His Blood. But this Blood is not an automatic pass for all humanity, for if it were, no one would be lost. The standard has always been the same: the Father observes the heart and sends to the Son those who please Him, and what pleases the Father is the Jew or gentile who seeks to obey His powerful and eternal Law. All the disciples, taught by Christ Himself, lived in obedience. They kept the Sabbath, circumcision, the forbidden meats, the tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. Salvation is individual; obey while you are alive. | The foreigner who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who remains firm in My covenant, I will also bring him to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
Nothing has changed. The words of Jesus are as valid today as they were when He taught His apostles and disciples with words and examples. They learned from the Master to live in total obedience to all the commandments that God revealed through the prophets who preceded the Messiah and by the Messiah Himself in the four Gospels, and it was this absolute faithfulness that qualified them to be sent to the Son. In the same way, we, the gentiles, will only achieve intimacy, protection, and salvation if we follow exactly the same path of obedience that they walked, without softening, ignoring, or reinterpreting the holy Law of the Most High. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God [Old Testament] and put it into practice” (Luke 8:21).
There are many who carry the label of “servants of God,” but in daily life, they behave as adversaries of God by despising His holy and eternal Law. The Sabbath, unclean meats, tzitzits, and circumcision are rejected. The commandments practiced by Jesus and all the apostles are treated as worthless. Even so, their conscience remains at ease because the crowd around them does the same, and this becomes ”proof” that everything is fine. But ”majority” is not a seal of divine approval. The Most High recognizes the few who fear Him and obey the commandments delivered by the prophets and the Messiah. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are alive. | “The assembly must have the same laws, which will apply both to you and to the foreigner living among you; this is a perpetual decree.” (Numbers 15:15)
Many Jews recognized, and Jesus confirmed, that John the Baptist was the one who would come in the spirit of Elijah, as prophesied in the Old Testament. Jesus Himself relied on the prophecies to show that He was the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. The prophecies are essential for us to know what comes from God and what comes from the enemy. Neither in the Old Testament nor in the words of Jesus are there prophecies about the sending of anyone, inside or outside the Bible, to teach the doctrine of “unmerited favor,” used by millions to live in disobedience to God’s Law. Salvation is individual. No gentile will ascend without seeking to follow the same laws given to Israel, laws that Jesus Himself and His apostles followed. Do not follow the majority because they are many. | “They rebelled against me. They disobeyed my laws and did not keep my commandments, which give life to those who keep them.” (Ezekiel 20:21)
The cunning of the serpent and human foolishness together created fertile ground for deception within the churches. Among the greatest absurdities is the idea that God will bless those who live in disobedience to His holy laws. This ancient lie dresses itself in religious appearance, but has the same purpose as in Eden: to lead souls away from obedience. The Lord never promised blessing to rebels, but to those who faithfully keep the powerful commandments revealed to the prophets in the Old Testament and by Jesus in the Gospels. Salvation is individual. Do not follow the majority, obey while you are alive. | “We receive from Him whatever we ask because we obey His commandments and do what pleases Him.” (1 John 3:22)
All the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels have direct support in the Old Testament, and this establishes a non-negotiable standard for us gentiles: we must accept only what aligns with what God transmitted through the prophets and through His Son. The plan of salvation taught to gentiles today does not come from the prophets, nor from Christ; therefore it is false and leads to perdition. What Jesus really taught is simple and unchangeable: no one comes to the Son unless the Father sends them, and the Father only sends those who follow the same laws He gave to the nation He set apart for Himself with an everlasting covenant. This is the plan of salvation that makes sense because it is the true one. Salvation is individual. The defenders of the false doctrine of “unmerited favor” believe that the God of the Scriptures is flexible, that His laws do not need to be strictly obeyed. That is why they often say that, although a person does not need to do anything to be saved, they ”should try” to obey the commandments. This ”should try” implies something not mandatory, but merely optional. God knows exactly what they are doing, and they will have a bitter surprise at the final judgment. It was for them to be obeyed that God gave us His laws through the prophets and through Jesus. The Lord is not a God of uncertainties, but of clarity. Those who love and obey Him, He sends to Jesus; but those who know His laws and ignore them are not sent to the Son. | “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.” (Psalm 119:4)
The promoters of the doctrine of “unmerited favor” like to say that this teaching comes from the Holy Spirit, but that is a lie. Jesus explained that the Holy Spirit would remind us of everything He Himself taught and no one else. He also told us that the Spirit would convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. How does this work of the Spirit of God align with disobedience to God’s Law, as do the churches that accept this doctrine? Jesus never taught that His death would exempt gentiles from following the laws the Father gave us in the Old Testament, laws that He, His relatives, friends, and apostles faithfully followed.
