Heresy is not rejecting false teachings of church leaders, but rather accepting and defending what Jesus never taught in the four gospels. The false doctrine of “unmerited favor,” which arose years after Jesus returned to the Father, is one of the greatest heresies fabricated by the serpent. People love this lie because it creates the illusion that, even while disobeying the mighty and eternal Law of God, they will be welcomed into heaven. This will never happen, because Jesus left a standard to be followed by both Jews and Gentiles. All the apostles and disciples obeyed the commandment of the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, the use of tzitzits, the beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. Do not follow the majority; obey while you are alive. | “Anyone who goes too far and does not remain in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever remains in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” (2 John 9)
