People forget that the serpent never stopped acting since the Garden of Eden. Its goal remains the same: to prevent man from obeying God’s laws. Right after Jesus ascended to heaven, the devil began his long-term plan to divert the Gentiles from the laws God gave to Israel, the nation chosen to bring salvation to the world. The devil fabricated a religion for the Gentiles, created a name, doctrines, and traditions, with the appeal that obedience to God’s laws would not be necessary for salvation. Jesus never founded a religion for the Gentiles, but taught that it is the Father who sends us to the Son. And the Father only sends those who follow the same laws given to the nation He set apart for Himself with a perpetual covenant. God does not send the disobedient to His Son. | The Gentile who joins himself to the Lord, to serve Him, thus becoming His servant… and who holds fast to My covenant, I will also bring to My holy mountain. (Isaiah 56:6-7)
