Many use the phrase “if the Law saved, Jesus would not have needed to come” to justify their own disobedience, but this phrase never belonged to the gospel of Christ. Neither the prophets nor Jesus taught that the Law saves; they taught that obedience to the Law brings the sinner closer to the Lamb, and only the blood of the Lamb grants forgiveness. Since ancient Israel, the principle has been the same: only the obedient received purification in the temple. Today the Father continues to send to His Son those who honor His Law. All the apostles and disciples obeyed God’s powerful laws. Salvation is individual. Obey while you are still alive. | “Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12)
