If an individual were to say in church: “I do not deserve to be saved!”, but sought to faithfully obey the laws that God gave to His prophets and to Jesus, he would be an excellent example of humility, worthy of being imitated. But in practice, the majority in the church repeat this phrase often, while obeying God’s Law is the last thing on their minds. In their understanding, distorted by the serpent, they believe that precisely because they do not deserve it, they can ignore God’s laws and still reach heaven. Do not follow the majority just because they are many. The end has already come! Obey while you are alive. | “You have commanded your precepts, that we should keep them diligently.” (Psalm 119:4)
