From the beginning, man has shown himself to be easy prey to the serpent’s pleasant lies. Adam and Eve fell and disobeyed a single commandment of God. And history repeats itself, for multitudes accept the false doctrine of “unmerited favor,” which promises heaven without obedience to the mighty and eternal Law of God, even though Jesus never even remotely mentioned this heresy in the four gospels. What Christ did was train His apostles in the way of life that leads to salvation, both for Jews and Gentiles. Like them, we must keep the commandment of the Sabbath, circumcision, forbidden meats, tzitzits, beard, and all the other statutes of the Lord. Salvation is individual; obey while you are alive. | Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21)
